These people hung up on NBCness have no clue of the Constitution, the 14th Amendment, over 50 court cases and SCOTUS decisions, and numerous presidents duly elected despite the NBC screechings.
Please provide a link to SCOTUS rulings on NBC. I remember reading that SCOTUS has yet to take up the NBC issue. When last raised during obama’s caper, no one had “standing” to question his pedigree and were shouted down. Here we are again with Heels Harris...ineligible because neither parent was a citizen at the time of her birth in Oakland, (Yes, she can be a senator, but not VPOTUS/POTUS)....crickets from congress or the courts, or Mark Levin. Shameful.
I doubt it will end up mattering
Can you show me where in the Constitution this definition of Natural Born Citizen?
Can you show me where the Constitution this definition of Liberty?
Can you show me where in the Constitution this definition of rights?
Can you show me where in the Constitution this definition of arms?
I agree all should read the Constitution. And the “natural born Citizen” term in the presidential eligibility clause is their to protect us from anyone born with foreign influence on them from ever becoming the Commander in Chief. It is a national security term put in their by the founders and framers as to who can be Pres and CinC once the founding generation was gone. So Dr. Shiva should follow it. What is your definition of a “natural born Citizen” of the United States. You will find my definition is my article: https://www.scribd.com/doc/300919680/The-Who-What-When-Where-Why-and-How-of-the-natural-born-Citizen-Term-in-Our-U-S-Constitution

Exactly. If Obama or anyone had no standing, the issue would have proceeded to the Supreme Court.
Here’s your link to a SCOTUS ruling on NBC...
Under the 14th Amendment’s Naturalization Clause and the Supreme Court case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 US. 649, anyone born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction is a natural born citizen, regardless of parental citizenship. This type of citizenship is referred to as birthright citizenship.

Yes I know. If you read the whole article at ThePostEmail newspaper I provide links therein for several candidates past and present who are not constitutionally eligible to be the Commander in Chief and President.
LOL. Those are words, NBC is not a concept you could look up in the definition in the dictionary. You want to leave something that important to some random idiot?
Since it well laid out there, the founding fathers saw no reason to reiterate what was already documented.
Has he announced his candidacy or something? I’m trying to figure out why this is posted.
I call B.S. on your saying I said anywhere that “The Constitution is a “living breathing document.” like you say”. You are obviously putting up strawman arguments here claiming people said things they never said. My position on the Constitution is clearly stated in the article I posted here which is posted at ThePostEmail newspaper. I suggest you read the whole article and stop making up things and putting words into this thread that I never said. You are obviously the lefty wordsmith sociologist engineer type in this debate, imo. And if you want more clarity on the subject of “natural born Citizen” and its original intent meaning and understanding and WHY it was chosen, again, see: https://www.scribd.com/doc/300919680/The-Who-What-When-Where-Why-and-How-of-the-natural-born-Citizen-Term-in-Our-U-S-Constitution
The comment, “it’s not a glossary” sure makes it seem like it.
An excellent demonstration among myriad reasons of what happens when a non-NBC is “elected” president.
Wrong! The Wong Kim Ark (1898) decision did NOT say he was a “natural born Citizen”. It only decided he was a Citizen. Saying otherwise is disinformation or a case of someone not bothering to reading the holding and decision of the case. See Section 4 at this site for more details on several SCOTUS case regarding “natural born Citizen” as compared to basic “Citizen” of the United States: http://www.art2superpac.com/issues.html
Yes, he has declared his intention to run for President. Do a search on Dr. Shiva and running for President.
Like Obama - according to his grandmother.
McStain was born on foreign property over which the US had sovereignty at the time.
Your slam is invalid.
Before or after he was born? That's the critical point.
If he was born after, then he is eligible, for he's then considered to be a NBC.
If he was born before, he was a naturalized at the same time as his parents were naturalized, thus, not a NBC.
NBC - Natural Born Citizen.
There’s also something really off with that guy. E.g., he has for years been pressing anyone watching him on youtube to pay for canned political coaching (note: he’s never come close to winning anything politically) via his systems analysis. He has the idea somehow that anyone who didn’t study such at MIT is incapable of thinking holistically.
I think he is correct re: Trump and RFKJ, but he is not the answer. Like RFKJ, he is more liberal than conservative, but he has less knowledge and background to what he comments on than RFKJ at least does. Thus, he’s somewhat off on almost all his analysis.
They were stationed overseas, thus he is considered a NBC because his parents were there in service to this nation, and were both U.S citizens at the time of his birth..
When you parse the above with English grammar, notice the dependency clause "and subject to its jurisdiction", making a compound sentence where both clauses have to be true in order for either clause to be true. If the kid has foreign parent(s), they are subject to their country of origin that issued their passport.
I already pointed out to you that the Cornell reference was over citizenship of contract foreign workers in recent thread.
