Bud Light has been branded 'desperate' after releasing a new advert with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce in a bid to win back customers.
The embattled beer giant released a new 15-second spot on Sunday showing Kelce cracking open Bud Light cans and aggressively grunting with several other men.

Kelce has got to be among the stupidest NFL players out there.
He doesn’t speak in interviews, rather he strikes poses, screams and grunts, in imitation of black ghetto-thug culture.
Didn’t know he swung that way.
If AB were Smart they would suspend sale of Bud Lite Indefinitely and after a reasonable period of time introduce a new Lite Beer with a new name and label accompanied by a Big Introductory Ad Campaign. It is time they buried Bud Lite instead of trying to revive it from the grace.
There is only one ad that will save them: a single Bud Light can with the words:
Two Genders
One Beer
Bud Light
But they haven’t got the balls.
Grace should have have been “Grave”.
Maybe their customers are as dumb as their marketing department.
The old phrase “When you are in a hole, stop digging”, comes to mind.
In their minds, the opposite of a cool, woke, cosmopolitan, surgically altered sexual deviant praising their horse-p*ss is a bunch of Neanderthals squatting and grunting.
Regards,
From the article:
“’Sorry there Bud. The only thing that would be close to bringing your base customers back is an unconditional apology and a renounce of woke culture!’ said one viewer.”
And there you have it in a nutshell.
About the only thing that is going to save Bud would be to manipulate their sales numbers and have woke money prop up their stock.
I guess bud lights new target customer isn’t smart enough to get out of the rain to consume their product......because that’s the commercial I’ve been seeing lately.
So, now were all just overweight blobs who can’t sit or stand up without sounding like we’re damn near dying?
I’m a bit surprised that Budweiser hasn’t hired the Village People to push Bud Lite.
After all, they include a cowboy, a biker, and some guy in a hard hat. That pretty much covers traditional American beer drinkers.
The cure for shooting yourself in the foot is not knocking yourself in the head with a 2X4.
that's a huge risk. Beer is hyper-competitive and it would be like trying to re-introduce Coca Cola. The marketing costs would be huge. People would treat it just like any other new brand
A better strategy would be a sincere and well thought-out apology campaign.
But from top to bottom, the institutional woke bubble-think of InBev management would never allow a back-down from globohomo.
I don't need ABs or your "permission" to do anything.
Once again, epicene marketers misunderstand what it means to be a man. Why would I want to imitate the behavior of a football player who would do, say, or grunt anything to make a buck?
Buh bye Bud!
