Modelo Especial has now dethroned Bud Light as the top-selling beer in America after years of the longtime industry leader holding the top spot. In the four weeks ending May 28, Modelo Especial store sales soared past $333 million, a 15.6 percent rise on the same period last year.

Guess I am out of vogue. It’s microbeers for me or Coors.
Why isn’t Miller Lite the next top one mass produced beer in-line? They all taste the same anyway.
Replace the most interesting man in the world with the most interesting mentally ill flaming gay guy (dylan) and the “I did that” logo and you’re onto something..
Or maybe use the woke female VP who mocked their customer base..
Either one would work..
Yep- like dilute panther pee, so described. Not real beer, just a volume hobby.
Miller went woke too..
“All Hail Modelo Especial; the NEW King of light beers!!”
I can fully understand how Bud Light is no longer the best-selling beer in America, what I didn’t realize was how popular Modelo Especial was and has become.
I’ve had it a couple of times, it’s okay but #1 in America, that’s hard to believe.
But I'd rather see a brand like Yeungling take the top spot.
El razón es el gran numero de hispanos que tocan la cerveza más famosa en su lugar de nacimiento.
And their children will speak English, but will never switch to Bud Light.
Sorry. No way in HELL is Modelo Especial #1. Last year, it wasn’t top ten. It’d have to have passed Coors, Yeungling, Miller, Keystone and Anheuser-Busch products like Michelob, Busch, Nasty Lite, Bud, etc.
“Miller went woke too..”
Miller does not shove its wokeism down your throat. Perhaps I am splitting hairs but to me there is a difference.
Oh, and Carlsberg!

Both brands owned by Inbev. Moving money from right pocket to left.
Modelo is still InBev, but I doubt they’ll be having Dylan Mulvaney doing this brand’s ads anytime soon.
I'm on my way out to pick up some Blue Moon Belgian White Ale... or Sam Adams Summer Ale...
We all know who makes Budweiser products including Bud Light - AB InBev.
Guess who produces Modelo? AB InBev!

Molson Coors is just as woke as AB InBev. Here is what they sell.

Not sure if this is true, but Yuengling MIGHT be going woke, too.

Jack Daniels is woke, too.

A/B didn’t read the memo sell beer not agendas.
Modelo is owned by the same company as Bud Light.
I’ve been getting Yeungling here and there but it’s not exactly cheap. I like their Flight light beer but it’s hard to find. I mostly drink Natural Light because it’s cheap and I can stand it. It’s AB but not really an advertised beer so it can’t really go woke.
