The Taliban threatened on Sunday that it could conquer Iran as tensions increase over water disputes between Afghanistan and Iran, leaving at least three people dead.
Senior Taliban commander Abdulhamid Khorasani, aka Nasser Badri, has in a video message warned that the group will fight against Iranians "with more passion" than they did against the US forces. "We will conquer Iran soon if Taliban's leaders give the green light for jihad."

All they need is some “dirty” material and they can do a number on an area. Iran’s nuke program is a good place to obtain it.
Israel has had nuclear weapons for at least fifty years, and no one seems concerned they’ll use them. The threats by Iran against Israel have always been for internal consumption; to get a rally-around-the-flag effect. My theory is that it will be Muslims who use them first and they will use them on other Muslims. If Iran comes under real stress from the outside and they have actual bombs, we can expect they’ll use them.
POTUS Potato already armed the Taliban.
POTUS Hussein armed Iran with a nuke program and drones.
I think we should give both of them a nuke-with a 15 minute timer.

Unless they find a way to appeal to Shia Persians, the Taliban is no threat to Iran beyond border areas. If anything, the Sunni, non Persian, Taliban, is likely to cause the disaffected Iranian population to rally around the flag.
Afghanistan vs. Iran? And China shares a sliver of land with Afghanistan as. common border. (I’d guess China sides with the Afghans.) With India and Pakistan in the region, that could make for some strange fireworks!
Watching those two groups blow each other to pieces is almost as fun as videos of grenades falling on Russian trenches. Almost.
