Budweiser is giving away its beer for free with new promotions after the Dylan Mulvaney backlash wiped almost $16 billion off parent company Anheuser-Busch's market value.
Anheuser-Busch has seen its market value plunge $15.7billion since the disastrous campaign with Mulvaney began on April 1.
In the latest scramble to return to the good graces of customers, Bud Light revealed a new promotion called the US Budweiser Family Memorial Day Rebate online.
The rebate promises an amount 'equivalent to the purchase price of one 15-pack or larger, up to $15' of Bud Light, Budweiser, Budweiser Select or Budweiser Select 55 paid via Anheuser-Busch Digital Prepaid Mastercard.
Based on recent prices, this would see packs of beer being given away for free.
Meanwhile, some local retailers have been offering 15 packs or larger of these Budweiser products for less than $15 – making the products free after rebate – excluding tax and state restrictions.
The rebate will be paid via a digital prepaid card, according to Bud Light's site.
Customers must provide a proof of purchase, an image of the case's barcode and of their receipt to get the prepaid card mailed to their home address.
Up to two submissions can be made till the end of the month between May 17 and May 23 and another between May 24 and May 31 and forms must be submitted by June 14.

Two 12 packs for $20 in my neck of Florida and still no sales. They can’t give the swill away.
‘getting it for free’ is still too expensive...
Die Bud and all your brands. They could not pay me to drink their rot gut beer. Some of their labels are excellent brews, Kokanee for one. But alas, nothing is lost for me and I will not miss their labels. Good bye fools....
For those not familiar, the major beer producers LOCK-IN their input products (including hops, yeast, etc.) YEARS before their products reach the market. So, their best policy is to NOT anger their customers.
Oh well...that’s life.
They couldn’t pay me enough
And may I add, hee-hee-hee.
Budweiser should have followed the seven rules from the old Monty Python “Bruce” sketch. I guess it’s too late now. Anyway, here are the seven rules.
1. No poofters.
2. No member of the faculty is to maltreat the “Abos” in any way whatsoever—if there’s anyone watching.
3. No poofters.
4. I don’t want to catch anyone not drinking in their room after lights out.
5. No poofters.
6. There is no rule six.
7. No poofters.
Yep. I found a better low carb beer than mich ultra. I now drink Yuengling Flight.
So in other words they have to buy enough raw materials to make the beer as if their sales never dropped. LOL. They are screwed.
I was stationed at Scott AFB near St Louis when Bush Bavarian first came pot in 1957. After being stationed in Bayern, I never touched Bush again.
I can hardly wait to see InBev stock selling below $40.
leave it on the shelf
make them eat it
2q is gonna be beautiful
has bud light become a verb?
dont bud light your sales dude!
“Dude thinks [probly right] he’s done if he returns to Uke-land. Never seen a world publicity tour like this for a ‘leader’ of a country badly losing a war.”
It does make sense, for a business like Beer, where product growth, or decline, is only at the margins, maybe 1%, 3% in an abnormal year.
But when you leave your Marketing Operation to a bunch of Leftists (Ukraine War supporters), then all bets (and trends) are off, and you’re WIDE OPEN to a major impact.
Impossible to think what ImBev was thinking, but I suspect it was related to the EU and their Draconian Rules on how they must run their businesses. So, if the EU says that your brand must be into Pedophilia and Bestiality, then it will be - you MUST comply, or others will GLADLY take your place.
Just that transweiser crap out near a street derelict encampment. It’ll disappear.
For anyone trying to locate Yuengling beer, here's the company's Beer Finder app:
https://www.yuengling.com/beer-finder/?bf-product=any&bf-retailer=any&bf-zip=17922
Only these states distribute Yuengling products:
AL, AR, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MS, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV
I think maybe take it all to Boston Harbor....lol
I’d take it for free. It’s the hoops you have to go through to get a rebate. Worth it only to young folk.
As for the expired stuff. It makes good target practice. Just put it next to a bird feed spot and film it.
"up to $15' of Bud Light"
