Hollywood reacted to the news Wednesday of the death of Tina Turner, calling her “iconic,” “legendary,” and so much more.
The official Twitter account for the legendary singer tweeted, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner.” The singer battled health issues in recent years, including intestinal cancer, a stroke, and needing a kidney transplant, People magazine reported. She died “peacefully” at her home near Zurich in Switzerland after a long illness, publicist Bernard Doherty confirmed.

Tina had mega talent. Contrast that with some of the ...er...content oozing from your radio/streamer today. RIP Tina.
“Two men enter, one man leaves.”

One hot lady!
Played that part like she’d been acting her whole life.
Ike was an idiot
A legend.
She truly was the QUEEN of Rock & Roll!.....................
That chain mail dress she wore weighed over a hundred pounds.
Notice she didn’t move a lot in that thing!.............
Wow I didn’t know that.
You’d think the costume dept. coulda made it out of a lighter material like plastic. 😏
Was probably made from leftovers from a 1950’s epic....................
Today it would have been created using CGI.
I always find it interesting that almost everyone involved in the “entertainment” industry that leaves the country goes to an almost totally white country. They NEVER go and live in Haiti or Africa. Fabulously wealthy people can live like kings anywhere, but they NEVER take up residence in a black-dominated country. You would think with all the virtue signaling, they’d head for a black country.
I can’t wait ‘till they can CGI actors and all those lib POSs are unemployed.
Me too.
That chain mail dress she wore weighed over a hundred pounds.
Nah, I doubt that.
Tina herself weighed maybe 110 dripping wet.
“Entertainers” like Beyoncé wouldn’t have made it as one of her back up singers.
Some blacks felt she was a “race traitor” for marrying a white guy, and doing mostly duets with other white guys.
She had several hits that still resonate and her personal journey was inspiring to many in abusive relationships. She really thrived after leaving Ike.
Sad passing. Tina was the greatest.
Whoopie Goldberg once said she’d visited Africa and was thankful her ancestors ended up in the US. She said she never wanted to live in Africa and wouldn’t be who she is here. Doubt she’d ever say that on The View.
