Bud Light’s Brand Is So Trashed It Can’t Even Give Beer Away For Free
Federalist ^ | MAY 25, 2023 | BY: SAMUEL BOEHLKE

It’s official: Anheuser-Busch can’t even give its product away for free after its transgender publicity stunt. According to images shared on Twitter, stores in the Midwest are attempting to “sell” cases of Bud Light beer for free before they get skunky on the shelves, with the company offering up to a $15 rebate on products sold this Memorial Day weekend.

Twitter user Michael Haz shared pictures of displays from two stores in beer-loving Wisconsin with the infamous brand attempting to offload 20-packs, originally priced at $15, for free after a rebate. Notice that even with the freebie, the displays are stocked.

In a reply to Haz’s original post, user Dan D. Lion shared an image of a Michigan Meijer sale flyer advertizing a mega 24-pack of the beverage for $3.49. “When I was a teenager in the early 80s a 6 pack of beer cost $3.49,” Lion wrote.

The few customers who buy Bud Light from May 17 to May 31 can submit their UPC and receipt online to receive a prepaid card for the value of their purchase. But men, Anheuser-Busch’s key customer demographic, who are not exactly known for extreme couponing or putzing with rebates are also no longer known for drinking Bud Light.

Bud Light sales have plummeted since national boycotts over their partnership with transgender-identifying influencer Dylan Mulvaney, whose face the company plastered on a can to celebrate his self-proclaimed first year of “girlhood.” Shortly after the trans fiasco, a 2021 interview emerged of a top Anheuser-Busch official describing how the brand uses so-called “diversity, equity, and inclusion” ideology, a euphemism for the discriminatory and divisive poison, when marketing its products.

In recent tweets, conservative commentator Matt Walsh celebrated the success of the Bud Light boycott, for which he and others advocated, calling for conservatives who “complained about the Bud Light boycott” to “help us rather than scoffing on the sidelines.”

Similar initial pressure has found success after Target injected its “pro-trans satanist stance” into “pride”-themed clothing for kids. It remains to be seen whether consumers will successfully give Target the full Bud Light treatment.

Bud Light has now become The Drag Queen of Beers.

Apparently, a good number of CEOs in America have gone either fully-reprobate or Hell-bent, literally, on making the stupidest marketing decisions ever. Or they’ve simply decided it’s in their best interests to serve whatever Satanic agenda the Left promotes.

Sales were declining in the first place because it was a boomer product. Boomers are aging and going on to meds that dont mix with beer.

GenX didnt have the same cultural associations with Bud and were always drawn elsewhere.

Millennials are afraid of the world and except for those on the fringes drink to signal they are part of a group, like those “smokers” that used to buy cigarettes just to stand around with the smokers and burn one but never really smoke one. They are also on more mental health drugs than those who came before and those dont mix well with alcohol either.

GenZ is actually quite confused by what they see as the cultural chaos that came before them that was responsible for “everyone doing drugs”. Theyve been taught that everything is a drug and beer or cigarettes and maybe chocolate are the same as cocaine. None of them want “to be on drugs”. This confusion is part of why most of them ran to the doctor to be put on “medication” to make sense of the world and at least half of those are on heavy doses to dampen the dissonance between reality and what they have been told is real.

There is no Budweiser, there is only Inbev. There soon will not be enough consumers left interested in getting blasted on high volumes of low profit beer for a business to keep spending money on supporting a product that is no more that one “flavor” of a large and more profitable assortment of “flavors”. When Orange Coke doesnt sell you just drop it.

I’d argue that was because people generally like the more tasty beers - but then they have the ‘drinking beer’ option, the very generic, nothing special, lite beer, as the alternative - and their choice was Bud Lite.

For me, I’d probably love the place - I *love* IPA’s. I’d be careful not to put them all in the same basket. Some are very hoppy, others not, some are fruity, etc...there’s quite a diversity to them.

...but to each their own.

but discovered other brands have much more flavor.

Delve into the world of good ales.

You may have to sample a lot of them to find ones to your taste, as they are very different from one another.

Once you find these, it is doubtful you will lower yourself to drinking a beer again.

Quality over quantity.

Bud Light has now been universally dubbed “QUEER BEER” by BOTH SIDES and it will be stuck with that moniker till the end of time..

/\

Their products are now just a flashing

” I’m a sexualy deviant pervert “

sign.

Even if I liked their product I’d avoid useing it for that reason alone, don’t want “?it’s?” hitting on me.

It’s sarcasm.

The argument about simplistic ‘young men’ afraid of appearing in some effeminizing manner is the same degrading, denegration that is used with the old trope about ‘small penis gun buyers’.

Or do you have an issue with seeing the word ‘penis’?

No problem if you didn’t get it.

Rebates are a pain in the A$$.

I have a MC gift card in my wallet right now from a rebate on Michilin Tires. I keep forgetting to use it. I went grocery shopping last night. Forgot to use it again. Didn’t even think about it until right now.

Which is the reason why companies love gift cards and rebates. People forget about them and NEVER redeem them. So, it is pure profit. I just threw out a gift card I had for Bertucci’s. A high end pizza chain here in New England. They closed the last one a month ago.

My son in law (39) loves IPAs like you. As do a lot of younger generation beer drinkers. I like Lager, Pilsner and Wheat beers.

It was interesting to read just how bad it is for ImBev. Apparently, large brewers don’t simply go to the local grocery store to buy ingredients a week before brewing, but rather commit to huge purchases months, or even years, ahead, so as to lock-in pricing. So, whoops.

Luckily for AB, to brew their crap it only takes 1/100th the amount of ingredients a good beer would require.

It’s sarcasm.

My sarcasm detector is usually pretty accurate, but it missed that one. My apologies.

"Young men don’t want to drink what they see as a ‘Trans’ beer. They are afraid people might question their sexuality. So, they drink ‘Straight’ beer instead."

I don't think so....Real men that drink beer are disgusted to be associated with queers or what they attempt to represent.
