McDonald's upcoming new burger recipe is touted to be more tasty for hamburgers and Big Macs. That's all well and good for us humans, but that means no more plain burgers for our canine friends, because onions are harmful to dogs.
In China, dogs are the burgers.
Anybody that feeds burgers to dogs will face Jesus for not feeding the hungry first.
When food bites back wonder a movie hasn’t been made about that yet.
Bingo
caramelized onions advertized to be embedded in the burgers.
Then I won’t be eating any McD’s burgers as I don’t like onions. I don’t like the taste, the texture, etc. - none of it.
Chocolate isn't fit for a dog.
Let that sink in for a second.
Do I need to elaborate, or do you see the fallacy in your comment?
You wanna eat McDonald’s, eat McDonald’s.
OK.
Looks like I DO need to elaborate. We humans are just about the ultimate omnivore on the planet. Pigs may have us beat, but only by a little. There are a whole lot of things that we humans can eat, that are unfit for other species like dogs. Chocolate is only one such example.
McDonalds is gross. The facts that (1) their new hamburger contains onions and (2) that onions can be harmful to dogs have no bearing on the fitness of their hamburgers for human consumption.
Your original post contained the “hidden premise” fallacy. The hidden premise in this case was that human and canine dietary restrictions are the same. That premise is false.
Fact 1, you take things too literally.
Fact 2, you must be a real hoot at a party. I bet you can count your friends on one finger or less.
I’ve been around the world living in austere environments. I currently raise animals on my farm. I don’t need the likes of you talking to me like you know me.
You don’t get to tell me the point of my comment.
No, McDonald’s food isn’t good for you. Yes, I used this one example of how onions, yes onions, make it bad for a dog to make a larger point (see the first line of this paragraph).
There, now that I’ve spelled it out for you, maybe you’ll get it. However, I doubt it. I imagine you’ll probably go on about how I really meant something else and I’m wrong, blah blah blah. Not really interested in your bloviating and waxing nonsense.
Enjoy your Big Mac.
Good day.
I will never understand why MickeyD’s doesn’t offer dog treats, or sell someone’s treats.
Seems to be if would provide a nice little revenue stream if done right...
ROFL!!!!
And YOU think I’M being too serious???
< shakes head >
Pathetic ...
Fries.y dogs love fries.
McDonalds plain burgers have ALWAYS had dehydrated onion. Always.
The Big Mac uses the two of the same patty used in the regular burger and the cheeseburger, a 1.6 ounce slab of frozen minced beef with dehydrated onions added when placed on the grill for cooking.
Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.
You do have the option of requesting no onions.
The article says they are mixing the onions into the meat so you won’t be able to get a Big Mac without onions
