Self, Vanity

McDonald's upcoming new burger recipe is touted to be more tasty for hamburgers and Big Macs. That's all well and good for us humans, but that means no more plain burgers for our canine friends, because onions are harmful to dogs.

The harm to dogs comes from the caramelized onions advertized to be embedded in the burgers.

Maybe it’s just me, but how about THE PEOPLE EAT THE BURGER

I'm not sure if what I found online is correct, but this from Yahoo seems to indicate that the onions are added as the patty is being grilled. If so, I would think a customer could just request no onions.
The new burger formula will include softer, toasted buns; warm, melty cheese; and onions that are lightly caramelized because they're added to the burgers while they’re still on the grill.

Just remember, folks, that your dog can consume up to 5 grams of onions per kilogram of body weight before they experience any toxic side effects.
Let’s not blow this out of proportion.
A 10 kilo dog can eat 50 grams of onions without worry.

Onions are bad for a lot of animals. In birds (parrots), the metabolites attack the respiratory system (or so my vet tells me).
As an aside, what the $*#@ is "melty cheese"?

Just buy the McDonald's hamburger, if one must, and then throw it in the trash.
Money well spent; one and one's dog both come out ahead.

This is an attempt to brainwash folks into accepting fillers and such being added. Soon it will be 10% beef and 90% fillers. No! 100% beef or refuse it. This is a bad door to open, they will all follow the example do the same.

McDonald’s food isn’t fit for a dog.
Let that sink in a second.
