Americans are drinking less beer after Bud Light, among others, raised their prices.
In AB InBev's (BUD) latest quarterly results, the total volume of beer sold decreased by 0.9%. At the same time, total revenue grew 10.2% to $14.67 billion, with price increases a key driver of that. After price increases and "really complicated" weather in the month of December, CEO Michel Doukeris called the Q4 results in the U.S. a "one-off, complicated quarter" in a call with investors.
Last quarter, the average price of a 24-pack of 12 oz. beer went up nearly 8%, per NielsenIQ data that was cited by Bump Williams Consulting. AB InBev's brands saw some of the highest price increases.
Under its portfolio, the price of Bud Light went up 8.9% year-over-year in Q4, followed by Budweiser, up 8.7%, Stella Artois up 8.2%, and Michelob UItra, up 6.7%.

And I included in my own comments that accompanied my OP, the following links, as a matter of interest, re beer sales snd distribution:

I have been trying to find online, beer sales data that is recent, and would interest Freepers who are searching for indications of the boycott effects.
These are Fourth Quarter 2022 results which ended 12/31/22, way before the Tranny crap.
But I expect you are right. The press and leftists will ignore the fact that it was Q4 2022 results and will strongly imply the demand drop the past two weeks was due to price increases.
Yahoo is a bunch of liars. Anything they say, the opposite is more likely true.
Look at the 10 year chart. In USA:
https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/BUD
BUD stock as been in a long-term general downward trend since September, 2016.
Elsewhere, I found that BUD Earnings per Share have been in a downward trend for the recent-most 3 year period.
They get their media this week to claim sales dropped b/c of high price. So...they will use that excuse in the next week or two for slashiing prices.
I should have included: Look for the “Advanced Charting” button.
LOL Inflation?! So that is the new story?
Yep. Just not Bud.
The taste of all beers tasted like crap for me. It took awhile before I acquired a taste for it. So much so, it was becoming a problem so I quit over 20 yrs ago
in general, I am not going to buy stuff that they have inflated .....I guess I don’t need a rib eye very often and I should just stop drinking soda but if I still need it, we’ll switch to store brand...same for other products....
I have been avoidoing AB products for years. I 0refer to used Genesee products they ave a wide variety. My favs are Genesee Cream Ale and their spring Bock Beer.
AB should do well with their tranny market which makes up .05 % of the US population. That’s what happens when a corporation becomes consumed by it’s Corporate Social Index Number instead of profit.
Propaganda article written to mask the boycott.

Bud CEO note to self: Take the freak off the can and replace with Clydesdale horses pronto
Tone deaf company blames rise in price for lower beer sales, completely misses spending of “bud money” to marginalize women.
Don Jr and Trump want the protest stopped...Another Trump is a weasel moment.
I live deep in the Ohio Appalachian region. I stopped at my tiny local store/restaurant and asked about the Bud Light sales. They have not sold hardly any Bud Light or regular Bud lately. The people that have been buying Bud for years have switched brands.
I don't know if he's mentally ill, but he is an annoying little douche bag.
