Any snake owner knows you have to be very careful when feeding them.
Even an “easy going” Ball Python may accidentally bite your fingers as you deliver the frozen dead mouse at suppertime. They are hungry and they are not sorry. Reptiles are not like puppies, who appear to feel guilt or shame when they hurt you by mistake.

Up at the Walmart here in town there was a Krate siting about a decade ago, my neighbor at the time and a self-proclaimed amateur herpetologist (lots of snakes in mommy and step-daddy’s house) quickly jumped in his Jeep with his snake hook and went to hunting.
I’m very thankful, truly thankful, blessed... that the weirdo family and the live at home snake freak, his fat grrrrfriend and babygirl moved out of that house and a normal couple moved in.
Did I mention that I was praising the Lord thankful...
