NYC DA Bragg may get that Trump indictment yet. Although there seems to be chaos in the DA's office and the Grand Jury being cancelled for a second day in a row, Bragg has a game changer up his sleeve.
Bragg is furiously fund raising in the background to provide raises and increased benefits to members of the Grand Jury in addition to necessary Grand Jury rule changes. Bragg attributes the lack of an indictment of Trump to the notoriously low compensation provided, lack of benefits, and the boring environment.
In addition to the 15,000% increase to the compensation, he proposes catered breakfasts, lunches and dinners, massages, and entertainment including drag queen performances.
DA Bragg is very sure that these incentives will bring the desired indictment, but he has a backup plan. If they do not, he will lock the jurors in the juror room with Obama and Biden SOTU speeches playing 24 hours a day until they issue a Trump indictment.
Isn’t that against the law? How about him going to jail? Oh I forget. According to him he hasn’t broke any laws.
I am of the opinion that the path that pisses the fewest people off would be for an indictment of a misdemeanor charge only.
That way the DA can claim he kept his promise and indicted President Trump so he saves face;
AND
No trial can be brought because the statue of limitations has already expired (2 years) for a misdemeanor.
Hey George Soros - it is Whip Out Time. That is when you must whip out that wallet and make a few grillion dollars donation to Mr Bragg, personally, preferably in a tax haven for him. Otherwise, no TDS indictment for you-hoo.
I am of the opinion that the problem for all of these folks is that they thought they were taking out Trump. They just took out the leading RINO competitor to Trump and exposed a lot of other loser RINOs to flak that they didn’t need. As Matt Braken just wrote - this is what Civil War looks like. It’s what it has alwasy looked like. Shooting the Archduke did no one in the Balkans a bit of good. It destroyed the flower of European manhood.
If Trump is reelected it’ll be 100% Fat Alvin’s fault. Nobody would even know who Trump is if Bragg had just left this alone. Trump couldn’t possibly get this much publicity without him. Where do I put the sarc tag?
