Jaw-dropping video captured a ginormous alligator sauntering through an upscale Florida community to the horror of residents.
WINK meteorologist Matt Devitt posted footage on Facebook of the “big boy” waddling across the road at the Forest Glen Golf & Country Club in Naples late last week.
“Dios mio!” a woman is heard saying in Spanish – meaning “My God!”
“Is it really here? It’s gigantic!” another woman cries out about the 10-foot-long roving reptile that turned the neighborhood into a scene out of “Jurassic Park.”
The scaly jaywalker, which apparently arrived from a nearby river, took all the attention in stride as it straddled the manicured lawns of the gated community.

Jumanji
Climb a tree if one’s available.
Run zigzag....alligators can’t, and can’t run for long distances either.
If all else fails .45........because they don’t make a .46
You cut to the left or to the right and continue running in a zig-zag pattern. Gators are so low to the ground and their legs are so short when they are on land they walk/run in straight lines.
>What do you even do if its coming after you?
.454 Casull for the reptile.
He invested in real estate when it was down in Florida.
>because they don’t make a .46
See post 5 :)
.500 S&W mag is appropriate too.
Meh. Pretty common in FLA. If there’s water, there could be gators. Lakes, streams, ocean inlets, swimming pools, hot tubs.
since an alligator can outrun a horse, you will probably dies.
Those people stand and watching in the background could be run down by this alligator.
Also if you roll them over and rub their belly they instantly fall asleep.
Sounds like some one has never been to Florida.
Except in Louisiana, there a .22Lr is enough...” choot em”.
“since an alligator can outrun a horse”
Say what????
Lived in Fla since 1969.....first time I ever heard that tale. Lol!
They can.
Alligators can run up to 20 miles per hour, even reaching 30 miles per hour in short bursts over a short distance...........
I’m not familiar with alligator physiology but there’s probably a soft spot or two that a .22lr could get through. Rattle around in the skull for awhile.
Kinda like liberals, I just wish they would leave me alone.
I thought that was sharks.......in any event, your gonna have to show me how ta do that. 😏
Trip your buddy.
Shoot him(your buddy) in the leg.
Yeah...right behind the eye. .17 HMR or .22 WMR. supposed to be better
