Q. Who invented the peanut butter cup?
A. Harry Burnett Reese, the founder of the H.B. Reese Candy Company, invented the peanut butter cup in 1928.
That man should be canonized! He’s brought so much joy to so many over something so simple! *HEART*

Anyone remember this stuff? Man, that was pure LUXURY when I was a kid. I remember we had a jar. Once. Then Dad must've hit Hard Times again. ;)

Well, that does it. I was thinking about what to make for lunch
Grilled in real butter, peanut butter and jelly sandwich will be the choice.
With lots of butter and PBJ I think it will be nearly 2,000 calories.

Jif is my favorite, with the sugar, with the salt.
My most un-favorite would be any of those Organic types that separate into clear, oily layers. Those type must be stirred up with a long handled spoon, as though it were a old can of latex housepaint.

A wee bit of peanut butter mixed with garlic, cinnamon, ginger and sesame seed oil can make a good sauce for stir fry or over Jasmine rice.
That is my weak attempt to imitate at home some Thai food I’ve been served in restaurants.

I don't see peanut butter on the list. Maybe he had to keep it a secret.
I luv peanut butter, the kind with only peanuts as an ingredient.
I haven't bought any in years, because well... I luv peanut butter.

Pb and bacon
Pb and raisins
Pb and cheese
Pb and pickles
So many options...
Pb goes with most anything.
One could probably make a pretty penny with a pb food truck if they planned it well.
