Who cares what the folks say really. There are no consequences when they are consistently wrong. The entire climate industry is literally the boy who cried wolf. Meanwhile SoCal just had a blizzard warning which I am sure was also caused by global warming.
In a big enough group, some records will be set in a given year.
Some records will be set in the upcoming NCAA tournament. And at the next Olympics.
And if it doesn’t return? Then what?

Somewhere in the world, a record will be broken. And that will be used to show that it’s happening everywhere.

The heat will happen this summer UNLESS we take drastic action. The article later says that even if all greenhouse emissions stop, the Earth will continue to warm for decades. Therefore, a hot summer cannot be prevented this year.
I love this record breaking thing....they find one day in a month that broke a record...It may only be by a degree...but hey...
