A Florida man was arrested Monday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill after allegedly throwing an alligator through a fast-food chain’s drive-thru window in October.

This Oct. 12, 2015 photo provided by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission shows an alligator in the kitchen of a Wendy's Restaurant in Loxahatchee, Fla.
Joshua James, 24, threw a 3.5 foot alligator through a Palm Beach County Wendy’s drive-thru window nearly four months ago, according to Florida Fish Wildlife and Conservation officials. He was also charged with illegally possessing an alligator and petty theft.
A report that James drove his pickup truck to the window at about 1:20 a.m. Oct. 11 was written by wildlife officer Nicholas Guerin. When an employee handed James his drink, he tossed an alligator through the window and sped off.

He wanted the tail fried and on a stick…
That is cute!
About 25 years ago at the huge Daytona fee market, a guy was selling baby alligators. He let me hold a foot long gator in one hand. That little guy was strong, squirming and frisky.
I am embarrassed to say I laughed at that…
I get the critters and all, but how does a Florida Man learn to climb mountains? The I-95 overpass over downtown Miami? Scaling the Sunshine Skyway in Tampa?

The Wendy's cashier spoke in court and said she was so scared that she jumped out of the drive thru window after the gator was thrown at her. She said she was scared enough that she even thought about quitting her job.Justice has been served."It all started as a stupid prank," said James.
James entered a guilty plea in court and said he was severely apologetic and deeply regrets what he did.
But despite his apology and the judge saying "good people do bad things or stupid things," the sentence was guilty on both counts---misdemeanor assault and unlawful possession of an alligator.
James has 12 months total probation and must complete 75 hours of community service.
He must pay a fine and court costs totaling $1,200.
The judge ordered no contact with any Wendy's restaurants and no possession of any animals, aside from the family dog.

“the sentence was guilty on both counts”
Pretty sure that was the “verdict”, not the sentence.
I was expecting his name to be something like Amos Moses.😁
>>>Poor little alligator. Hope they take it back to the swamp where it can survive and thrive. Perp could be dumped there too, where the big gators lurk.<<<
Agree! Leave the alligators alone!
God help me, I do love Florida.
In the fwiw department, Florida man rarely comes from Florida.
For example, have you kissed a native Floridian today?
If not, and you are a good looking woman, I live in St. Pete.

That’s the FUNNIEST THING I’ve seen today. Thank You
That poor gator!........................
There you go again! Gherkin our chain!...................😂
Looks kinda like Eli Manning in his younger days!.................
He is young enough to think a prank is great fun! I now live in a sub-division of homes starting at $350k. The children obviously have good parents. Last month they vandalized the club house gym. They were too dumb to realize there are cameras everywhere recording them in the act. Police apprehended them the next day. But I think they will just be given a slap on the hand and then released. They should hold parents liable for the damage.
“ Justice has been served. ”
But he didn’t get fries with that.
