(CNN)Just over a month after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after making a tackle in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Buffalo Bills safety has received an optimistic prognosis on his playing future from the NFL players union doctor.

I can’t help but notice that the “Where’s Damar?” crazies have never apologized for smearing him on social media. They are hit and run nutjobs on to their next troll.
I agree 100%.
Can you say INSURANCE........
He’s in a pine box 6 feet under, Jim.
If he played in California they will pick up the tab for his medical bills
I think someone said that within minutes after he hit the ground.
Anything but the vax...
He has great name recognition now, he will probably get a job with the NFL being a spokesman of some sort.
If it was because of the hit, it would have more to do with the timing of the contact rather than the intensity of it.
If it was because of the hit, the chances of it happening again are slim. If there was minimal damage to the heart, there isn’t any real reason not to play again.
I recognize that there are a lot of “ifs” in those sentences. No one except he and his doctors know what is really happening.
I hope not. For his sake.
Just give him a magical booster and he’ll be fine.
The hit was more of a wrap up than a major collision.
This reminds me of the Reggie Lewis situation with the Boston Celtics. He fell down during a game, but got up and finished the second half. Then he went from cardiologist to cardiologist, finding one who would let him play with observation, rather than installing a pacemaker, which would have limited his athletic abilities. One day, in the post-season, he was casually shooting buckets in a Boston College gym, and collapsed with a fatal heart attack due to arrythmia.
” No one except he and his doctors know what is really happening.”
DOCTORS? You TRUST doctors?
“Of all the countless hits, blocks and tackles in games and practice over decades in the nfl by thousands of players I just find it hard to believe that’s the reason.”
Exactly CORRECT!
One in a million doesn’t even cover it.
IT WASN’T THE HIT.
Drugs or Vax. NOT the hit.
Why, yes I do. I worked in a hospital. I know and watched doctors daily.
Plus I am not an idiot who believes every internet conspiracy I find.
IIRC, it was reported that he had the vax less than a week before he collapsed.
The off button exists. Luckily it’s very random. Chris Pronger played over a decade after he took a puck to the chest that pushed the off button. Never another problem.
“I am a lawyer and I bet I could put together a case though.”
Is there anything that a lawyer couldn’t put a case together for?
