A Delta Airlines passenger accused a flight attendant of telling his wife she had a 'stupid face' in a row after the couple tried to use a first-class overhead bin.
Thomas Todd posted a now viral video of his experience aboard a flight from Orlando to New York City last November, when an unidentified flight attendant warned him and his wife, Jen, to stop 'being rude.'
The video, which began after the couple reportedly tried to place their bags in the first-class bins because their own section was full, sees the flight attendant become increasingly frustrated with Todd.
‘Don’t do it,' she warns him. 'Because I will turn this plane around to get you off. Don’t do it. Don’t press my buttons.’
Todd claims the employee 'verbally assaulted' and 'threatened' him and his wife, allegedly telling Jen 'she had a stupid face,' before having them removed from the flight.

I cannot tell you how many people did this crap. I tried as much as possible to catch them putting bags in 1st Class and would check them so the people had to go to baggage claim. I had someone take MY bag out of the coach overhead and throw it down the aisle so they could put their bag up there.
That said, I am so glad I no longer work the ‘friendly skies’. I was kicked, punched, cursed out by angry people who should have been locked up or at least banned from flying. These people were set off by bad weather, us not serving meals or them having to pay for alcohol, late flights during holidays and everyone wanted free flights and financial compensation AND our full names so they could call our supervisors. 🖕 (We would tell them they needed to go to Helen Back to complain.)
It is PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - a step about Greyhound busses in many cases.
First class may be allowed to board early and get carry-on stowed, sometimes we have tight schedules and find the bins already loaded by others. Very frustrating. The passenger was in the wrong, attendant perhaps could have been more diplomatic, but the passenger escalated the dispute.
Reminds me of my SW pilot friends quips. He’d get on a plane and ask the co-pilot who the crew was. Answers would come back like “3 hags and a fag”, etc.

She has STUPID FACE here’s a banana now keep her quit.
“Only a stupid person would try to use the first class storage as an economy passenger. That is why 1st class is 8 to 10 times more.expensive.”
I agree. If there was no room in the coach overhead storage, they should have just asked the flight attendant if there was somewhere else to put their stuff. But taking it on oneself to use an area one did not pay for is not only rude, it is cheezy.

I flew quite often for work before I retired several years ago. And I haven’t even been in an airport since then. If I travel now, I either drive or take a train with a sleeping compartment.
Thomas Todd and his wife are stupid people. They did not follow the flight attendants instructions.
Lordy what idiots. If the overhead is full leave you bag out and tell the flight attendant. They’ll handle it
We still have to fly to visit grand kids overseas, at least we fly one way. We will take a re-positioning cruise on a ship for one way.
Agreed…I just saw this on a Delta flight. The people first tried to cram their bag into a slot right at the front (they were seated at the back) and then when it wouldn’t fit, they were moving on to first class..A flight attendant politely told them they couldn’t, and when they began to give her a hard time, she just said, “give me the bags, we’ll gate check them in the space we have, and you won’t have to worry about them.” And they handed over the bags and went and sat down happy.
They were about to be jerks but that fight attendant defused them. The flight attendant in this video definitely had a pair of jerks…but she handled them really badly, and that only made it worse.
Maybe she’s burned out on the job, maybe she has a chip on her shoulder, maybe she was just having a bad day…but she needs retraining at least.

The re-positioning cruises are great. You don’t get the riff-raff that go on shorter excursions. You do get the gourmet food and a serviced hotel room and the cost for both of us is often less than a SINGLE premium economy airline seat.
I’d like to do that one of these days. Unfortunately, my wife is an invalid so travelling for her is out of the question. And there is no way I’d take a cruise without her (she’d never let me forget it).

The issue would be getting to the cruise port.
Once on the ship she’d be fine. The have wheelchair accessible cabins.
