What exactly is causing the egg shortage? Many people are reporting that there are issues with the commercial chicken feed, speculating that it has even prevented their hens from laying eggs.
The rising egg prices in America have affected millions of homes. The cost of eggs in California has risen 550% in the last month, going from roughly $1.34 a dozen to $7.37. The state blamed it on an outbreak of bird flu, but others are not so convinced. In fact, several people have come out to say that their chickens did not produce eggs for months – until they changed their feed.
One man (@urbanchickenfarmer) uploaded a video on TikTok and theorized that something must be wrong with the feed. "Something is wrong with the chicken food we're buying, seriously," he said. "My chickens have not laid an egg since July, and nothing's changed. Then I was thinking, maybe it's because my chickens getting older, or maybe it's a bad winter. But, according to a lot of people on TikTok, they're having the same exact problem. And people are saying once they switched the food, their chickens are starting to lay again."
He continued, "So I'm gonna switch their food, and we'll see. Maybe something's wrong with the food, and was it intentional?"
The TikToker recently uploaded an update after switching his feed, explaining that one of his chickens has started "laying like crazy," but the rest of them haven't yet. However, he believes that they're doing okay and "things are improving."
@thehotmesshomestead was going through the same problem, and she was determined to find answers. "Is the commercial feed the reason so many people's chickens have not been laying at all?" she asked. "This is a question that I am asking myself, and I have seen all over TikTok, Facebook, everywhere." She then talks about the many posts on social media of chicken owners discussing how they ditched the commercial feed (specifically the brand known as "Producer's Pride") in order to get eggs.
@twosailorspotrero responded to the video above on January 14. "So, my chickens have not laid since, I wanna say, July 22. And I just switched their feed a week ago, and for the first time since July last year, I got eggs. It is the feed. It is definitely the feed," she repeated.
A woman from the Twitter clip below seemed to echo these findings by explaining how she got eggs after making the switch to goat feed. "I have to say, there's something to this," she said. "If I have to put my little tin foil hat on. It's kinda weird."

The problem seems to be with Purina chicken feed, Tucker had 2 chicken farmers on his show they both changed the feed and the chickens are laying eggs like crazy!! Purina had a feed not that long ago for cattle that was killing cattle and had to be pulled off the market!! I am assuming that these feeds are made in China which is another reason we NEED TO start making these things at home!!

although in deep winter here, when it is dusky all day freezing cold and outdoor doors are not open, I ran them straight 18 and a half hours every day from 6 am on. No rooster.
It is not just chickens. Sow reproduction also being affected by GMO feed.

I am late to the party, but I can confirm my hens stopped laying eggs in September 2022. Then a friend suggested tainted chicken feed by Tractor Supply Company, and I started doing some research......and wha-lah! It all fits. It is run by globalists. The chicken farmers are posting, talking about the same thing.
I also noted the MSM came out with articles saying “these aren’t the droids you are looking for,” listing reasons why hens stop laying. Sorry, not nation-wide at the same time. Something is amiss and it isn’t a conspiracy theory. A cabal is attacking us (you already knew that); more sinister than Redcoats intent on seizing black powder from colonial militias. This is seizure of money and nutrition from our families.
As such, instead of talking about news, here are my recommendations:
1. I recommend a permanent thread on FOOD SUPPLY INTERRUPTION. This will be a long fight and having data in one place will be helpful; some FReepers will step up and make this a category they exclusively post on. They are not going to stop with chicken feed.
2. Establish a permanent RED, WHITE, and BLUEPRINT thread that has the the Shasta County California model for taking back the country. IMHO, we lose if we don’t follow their example. Meetings in living rooms and around camp fires need to happen in every county. Build the patriot militia and take over county seats.
3. Contact trusted Congressman and state representatives. I would specifically contact Senator Rand Paul, as he is a scientist and probably one of our most trusted allies, along with VA state delegate Nick Freitas and NC LtGov Mark Robinson. That activity should happen on the state boards.
There is a great opportunity for a patriot entrepreneur to fill in what Dr Steve Turley calls, “the parallel patriot economy.” That in itself might be a worthwhile thread.
For the intelligence folks, a suggested Collection Requirement: Report on the confirmation of the manipulation of feed for all livestock.
For the faithful in Christ, let your elders and deacons know so that they pray and engage church networks for further conversations. Bring the darkness into the light.
