I can't speak for Georgia, but where juvenile bail and sentencing “reforms” have been put in place, guns in the hands of child punks have exploded along with teen gang activity (e.g. WA state where I live).

Thank God our governor and AG want to take guns out of the hands of legal, responsible owners.

The fact that an 11-year-old had a firearm and shot at someone is disturbing.

Given the demographics of Valdosta, not only is it not disturbing, it's expected.

“The victim gave a description of the juveniles that robbed him, which matched the description of the juveniles who reported they someone had shot at them.”

Two things:
1) Not surprisingly, the reporter conveniently avoids mentioning the race of the suspects.
2) The reporter don’t write so good.

They are weaned on crime and violence. I think the state needs to buy a couple of booster seats for the electric chair.

‘Not surprisingly, the reporter conveniently avoids mentioning the race of the suspects’

I don’t think I need to guess the race.

They have to withhold that info because it’s better to talk about problems in useless vagaries than focusing on the source of the problem and what can be done.

2) The reporter don’t write so good.

———————————————————

Consider the source. It’s a local TV news source. And it has long been a pet peeve of mine to notice that the worst, sloppiest, most inept form of journalism is from local TV news sources.

I am convinced that they hire nothing but junior college journalism dropouts who’s only qualification is that they look good on TV.

Check it out yourself. The next time you see a badly written report, check it and see if it’s not from a TV news station. I’ve seen fourth graders that can write better than they do.

I don’t know how available Playstation 5’s are now. I tried to buy the digital version for one of my sons for his birthday two years ago, and like a dummy, I bought some of the accessories he wanted before being able to find the console. After a year I gave up, and got him an X-box X instead. About the only way you could get a Playstation 5 of any kind back then, was to rob somebody of theirs, or pay some crook a thousand dollars on Amazon, neither of which I was about to do.

It has evolved from parents fighting over toys. I still recall the days of Tickle Me Elmo brawls in stores.

“ The victim gave a description of the juveniles that robbed him, which matched the description of the juveniles”

What was the description…A child with absolutely no identifiable characteristics whatsoever…looked exactly the same as any other child in America from anywhere such as rural utah or pennsylvania farm country or something

“The Amish again?”

A short while ago, some FR concern troll attacked me for using Amish to avoid “racism” by calling out the species involved.

Concerned, they were............Ignore them, I will.
