Around 4.7 million Fisher-Price baby seats are being recalled again after they were linked to more than 100 infants’ deaths.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recall involves all Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleepers. The inclined baby seats were initially recalled in 2019 after reports of more than 30 infants dying. Since the original recall, more than 70 additional deaths have been reported, including eight that reportedly happened after the recall announcement.
Infants using the sleepers can roll from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained or under other circumstances, according to the CPSC. The American Academy of Pediatrics called the product “dangerous” after a Consumer Reports investigation linked the product to 32 infant deaths since 2011.

Can’t babies roll onto their stomachs without the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleepers?
Unfortunately the majority of the stuff sold in this country is made in China..from baby rockers to medication on down the line its sad that China has been allowed to become this powerful that they control the market
A hundred kids? Yikes! One hundred times fifty million comes to a lot of money!
Safe and effective.
Title should read:
“Millions of abortions recalled again after more than 62 million babies die”
Following the Covid jab ‘logic’, that means more of these should be sold. Perhaps Biden can have OSHA craft a rule requiring parents to buy them.
But those COVID vaccines haven’t been recalled after over thousands of deaths.
“Can’t babies roll onto their stomachs without the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleepers?”
In it’s statement, the AAP said it does not recommend “inclined sleep products like the Rock n’ Play, or any other products for sleep that require restraining a baby.”
“The AAP advises against using car seats, strollers or other devices for sleep,” the AAP said, “because of the risk that a baby could roll or turn into an unsafe position and be incapable of moving, leading to suffocation or strangulation.”
“Safe and effective.”
The dead kids might disagree.
Yes, but in the rockers, they are cupped with their faces down and can’t easily turn back over in the sling.
China is moving up the economic ladder and other countries are taking over as bottom feeder producers.
I’m seeing auto parts previously from China now coming from Vietnam, Indonesia, and India.
The progression has been USA >>> Mexico >>> China >>> others
But these are American designed products.
Just curious: what products are safe if the kid is left in it without the safety features used?
