Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin might have been a fraction of a second away from moving on to the next play. Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest Monday night when he collapsed on the field in Cincinnati, was administered CPR under life-or-death circumstances and hospitalized in critical condition after what one independent board-certified cardiologist saw as a collision at the time in the cardiac cycle when the heart is most vulnerable.
“That hit had to occur at a certain point in time that was only five milliseconds long,” said Dr. Marc Cohen, Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Newark-Beth Israel Medical Center. “If that hit occurred one millisecond after or before, this may not have happened.”
What looked like a routine (by NFL standards) tackle by Hamlin on Bengals receiver Tee Higgins resulted in Hamlin getting to his feet, adjusting his facemask and immediately falling onto his back as horrified players from both sides watched trainers, paramedics and doctors assist with his breathing and restore his heartbeat.

They sure are pushing this theory.
I know it is popular to blame Hamlin’s cardiac arrest on The Jab, but just about every player on every NFL and College team has been vaxxed for the last two years, and we don’t have players dropping like flies week in and week out.
In before the next big vax vs. anti-vax brouhaha over this incident.
An autopsy case report of fulminant myocarditis: Following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination
...A 27-year-old man was transferred to the emergency room in cardiopulmonary arrest. The patient had just received the first dose of the mRNA-1273 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine (Moderna, Cambridge, MA, USA) 8 days earlier and had no symptoms such as chest pain suspected of myocarditis or general fatigue suspected of low cardiac output after the vaccination until the emergency room visit. He had a high exercise habit; his teammates called for an ambulance when he was found sitting unconscious during practice...
You think they should make football illegal?
One freak bolt of lightning within a five millisecond time frame or ...
there could not possibly be any other reason!
I wouldn’t take the NFL’s word for the percentage of players vaxxed.
Have they said what percentage is vaccinated?
Bullshit!
commotio cordis is a possibility, but its actually a very rare cause of cardiac-arrest problems among athletes.
anyway, the MSM needs a suitable narrative, so they will latch on to one.
This long predates the shots.
In most cases involving high school or college players, it is an undiagnosed anomaly or heart condition. A professional ought to have been thoroughly vetted during recruiting or in annual exams, BUT - these things can be missed.
Not saying that there are not sequelae to the COVID shots (there are also to the virus itself - friend of mine had a severe stroke after contracting COVID - this was before the shots were available.) And it is a shame - really almost criminal - the way the govt shut down critics and questioners and alternative treatments. But we shouldn't err in the opposite direction.
We can recognize that the Usual Suspects are anxious to deflect blame, but let's also acknowledge that not everything is attributable to the shots.
a lot of controversy right now over whether the NFL lied about the 5 minute warm up story. Joe Buck vs the NFL.
As many people are pointing out...QB Joe wouldnt have started warming up unless he was told to do so.
It was a random explosion of the center fuel tank.

We don’t?
High school kids arent getting the same screenings and health care as NFL. But then again, a lot of things probably get covered up in the NFL
They’ve suggested it’s as high as 95%.
Yes, the NFL made refuseniks’ lives hell.
But the NFL never had a mandate for players, and the fact that uptake numbers for African Americans are lower than whites, are why I’m calling BS on the 95% stat until the NFL proves it.
You want to ban football?
From what I’ve been reading even a good sports physical won’t catch some of this early enough.
