There are only 15-20 cases of Commotio Cordis a year, and they occur in 14-18 year olds playing sports with high density projectiles, such as baseball and hockey. It's VERY unlikely to be what happened to Hamlin.
But below is a link to a paper that describes how Myocarditis can increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmia and cardiac arrest in blunt force chest wall impacts.
Didnt the CDC recently say something about the mRNA vaccines and myocarditis???
