A mini-mart clerk in Louisiana was fired after a video showed her throwing a bucket of water on a homeless person sitting outside the store in frigid temperatures.
The incident took place Monday at the Triple S Food Mart in Baton Rouge. Temperatures were around 26 degrees that day as a severe Arctic blast swept the U.S.
Kasey Young, the 44-year-old clerk, uploaded the clip of herself throwing a bucket of water on the homeless person sitting in the parking lot. She can be heard yelling, “Move! Not telling y’all again. Move it!.”
Ms. Young then complains about a mess that a group of people made in the store as she walks back inside

(at least learn where the surveillance cameras are)
Yes it is.
I wouldn’t want that employee around.
If she had whacked at him with a broom I would talk to her about it, but what she did reveals something dark and uncontrolled about her that I would want gone.
Makes one appreciate the compassionate Ebeneezer Scrooge.
Sorry, but why?
She records AND posts it online.
The Christmas spirit didn’t last long......................
Until they move to your nice suburb. And they will.
She should have invited him to come inside and warm up instead.
At least it wasn’t a bucket of slops.
Some place just put in spikes to keep out the riffraff
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostile_architecture
“Hostile architecture is an urban-design strategy that uses elements of the built environment to purposefully guide or restrict behaviour. It often targets people who use or rely on public space more than others, such as youth, poor people, and homeless people, by restricting the physical behaviours they can engage in.
Also known as defensive architecture, hostile design, unpleasant design, exclusionary design, and defensive urban design, the term hostile architecture is often associated with items like “anti-homeless spikes” – studs embedded in flat surfaces to make sleeping on them uncomfortable and impractical. This form of architecture is most commonly found in densely populated and urban areas.[2][3]
Other measures include sloped window sills to stop people sitting; benches with armrests positioned to stop people lying on them; water sprinklers that spray intermittently; and public trash bins with inconveniently small mouths to prevent the insertion of bulky wastes.[4] Hostile architecture is also employed to deter skateboarding, BMXing, inline skating, littering, loitering, public urination,[5] and trespassing, and as a form of pest control”
The state frowns on homicide. So does God.
Wow, hostile vs defensive.... quite a difference.
13% of a problem solved. Hope they hang her.
The same convenience store where Alton Sterling was shot and killed by police after he was accused of waving a gun around and illegally selling CDs.
The city of East Baton Rouge agreed to pay $4.5 million to the Sterling family in 2021 after settling a wrongful death lawsuit.
Bad juju .
Because it’s a homeless guy sitting outside in below-freezing weather, now in wet clothes. He probably doesn’t have a dry change of clothes or a place to warm up. He’s still a human being.
This is not ok under any circumstance
