If I eat too many carbs in the evening—I wake up in the morning with intense brain fog.
I find that sugar and carbs are the depression foods. that if I’m mildly depressed—I’ll reach for these foods.

It’s a nice premise (/s), but the author has no credibility in generically labeling all oral sources merely as ‘sugar’ with no delineation of the harmful types, particularly the fake ones.
I’ve eaten WAY too much sugar for the last few days, no headaches though.
Just try to balance your intake. Don't just grab cookies, grab some cheese and nuts as well.
I will not mention the veggie tray because it is Christmas. This is no time to be eating any vegetable that is not smothered in a creamy sauce.
I don’t drink beer, wine or hard liquor. I did enough of that when I was a young man to last a lifetime............

too much sugar can cause liver cancer and sclerosis as well. The liver stores it and processes it poorly if your liver is compromised. I know from personal experience.

I’ve done that in the past for a 21 day spiritual fast at church.......you definitely have to taper off.....stopping caffeine cold is a killer to be sure.
