On Friday evening, suspended Texas Longhorns head coach Chris Beard's fiance released a statement through her attorney disputing aspects of the account she gave police officers that led to Beard's arrest and a third-degree felony charge for assault by strangulation/suffocation - family violence. [Linked article lists what she told and showed to Police - She basically recants everything]

seriously evil, not kinda, not sorta but pure evil
nobody ever taught Chris about narcissists
hard lesson
she was likely banging a cop at their house when Chris was away
that kind of evil
but she f’d with her meal ticket and heard it in her ear from everyone in Chris’ and her family and friends and she’s trying to take it back. Not because she loves him, but she fears her cover is blown and doesn’t have another supply ready to go yet
my advice
(not tie her to a chair and throw her in the river although i appreciate the sentiment)
instead, don’t go home Chris
get a high power attorney and file for divorce regardless of cost
put the house up for sale
zero contact, not a single word
let her tell her sob story to her flying monkeys
hopefully her mom who is responsible for creating this monster is alive to listen to her complain incessantly
they deserve each other
You are going on the assumption that her accusations are true, and he is an abuser.
Others are thinking it quite likely that her accusations are false and SHE is the abuser, trying to destroy him possibly because of a breakup.
I’m reminded of the false accusations against Clarence Thomas by Anita Jill, by the false accusations against the Duke lacrosse team, by the Kavanaugh hearings, by Amber Heard. Etc.Just because a woman makes an accusation doesn’t make it true.
If I were Chris, I would recant my love for her. She’s a nutcase Chris.
I agree, but I don’t know all of the facts. Perhaps it might be best if they both go their own ways, but I suspect that they will have the same problems with new relationships. Both could use some extreme counseling.
I started reading your excerpts until I came to this:
One in four women will experience intimate partner violence (IPV) in their lifetime...
~~~~~
That sounds likeca totally bogus statistic made up by a lying man-hater.
Most women that look like her are crazy, trust me, I was single and over 38 for twenty years. I could write a book about mixed up women that would make your hair fall out, like mine.
*like a
“One in four women will experience intimate partner violence (IPV) in their lifetime...
It could be one of those cooked statistics, something like this:
Some women (often abused in their youth) hang out with “dangerous” men because they think it is exciting.
Those women experience “intimate partner violence” fifteen times in their lives.
Each time counts as one “woman experiences partner violence”.
Now it turns out that one out of fifteen women actually experience that violence—but they get battered over and over and over again...
What if he’s innocent or as it appears now, the abused?
Women should never be believed without evidence.
They lie and don’t care who gets hurt as long as they get what they want.
Tawana Brawley, Chrystal Mangum, vocal fry, Anita Hill. With a little google search effort I could create an examples post a mile long. Throw in hate hoaxes (is there any other kind) and I could crash the FR servers.
The State may prosecute. But if the witness doesn’t support the prosecution’s theory of events....
Are you aware that she had bite marks from him?
You happen to be a Longhorn?
Another attention seeking female? 🙂
He sounds like a complete scumbag.
6 on hot matrix, 8 on crazy matrix, Coach needs a new girlfriend.
Unfortunately, the high profile cases where women have made up charges, etc. are the only ones the media is interested in. I really despise “the media” & from personal experience, not just what it’s obvious they’re currently doing.
The ‘not rich’, normies, every day women (and men in some cases) don’t get the time of day when it comes to domestic abuse/violence and the problem is “hidden” from most people who just can’t fathom that this goes on.
I have been in the ER (was an EMT) seeing the black eyes, broken noses, beat to a pulp for something like getting chicken nuggets instead of a hamburger, watched these women when the police came to talk to them ... afraid to press charges. Strangling cases usually result in physical signs ... not just word of mouth from the victim. It starts as early as high school kids being subject to abuse by people they date, college kids, and on it goes.
Anyway, you man not believe it but domestic abuse is VERY common - a lot of it is mental (belittling, bullying, ‘you’re worthless’, etc.) and often escalates in physical abuse. If there are kids in the relationship, they suffer too and are often also abused.
Don’t believe, doubt, whatever ... until it happens to someone you know, you see it in the ER, or you’re on the end of a phone with a person afraid for their life .... or calling for help in a whisper & having to hang up/having the phone ripped away and you don’t know if they’ll still be alive when the police arrive. Been there, done that ... and know people killed by abusers. I don’t wish that on anybody.
Merry Christmas to you all.
What does the state present for evidence?
Unfortunately, this is a common response when women realize that their meal ticket is no longer able to pay for her lifestyle. You never sure what to believe - the man is a controlling jerk who manhandles women or the woman is hysterical and needs to be restrained until she calms down.
It’s 50/50 honestly. Could be either or both.
On my second cup & the dishwasher comment makes no sense to me either.
I believe in domestic abuse and applaude your efforts to share your experiences.
Merry Christmas.
You have sound advice. Regardless of her statement, his behavior will likely cost him his job. He has 3 daughters and an ex-wife.
