Hoe do you sell out digital cards?

I think Shrillary should do this too. I’m sure hers would sell out in a day as well... if they were depictions of her in an orange jumpsuit and/or prison cell, that is.

So, gone from being president, to cheated from office, to running again, and finally, to selling $99 digital playing cards. What next, maybe ties, golf clubs, and shoes?

What a pitiful fall. Maybe there is a reason some of his family announced recently that they wanted nothing to do with his then-pending re-election campaign.

What the heck are “digital cards,” and what is the benefit to buying them?

This is really little different from selling t-shirts for campaign contributions.

Really clever.

I find it amazing that people are losing their minds over this.

It is a stupid marketing thing. It raises money. It aims at a certain segment of the Trump supporting electorate, nothing more. I see it as no more impactful than the hundreds of junk emails I get from the Trump campaign.

I think digital currency is both asinine and extremely dangerous. I think the NFT concept is a niche thing but I am not interested. I think the cartoon character is silly, even a little funny, but it isn’t my thing.

But seeing people screaming that oh my God, it is so un-Presidential, below the dignity of the office or whatever else is completely hysterical.

It has zero with a functioning economy under Trump. It has zero to do with peace treaties pursued by Trump. It has zero to do with playing hardball with the Communists, as Trump was doing. It has zero to do with combatting The Swamp. It has zero to do with election integrity. It has zero to do with low inflation. It has zero to do with the corruption of the DOJ, FBI, and the intelligence agencies. It has zero to do with the gutting of the military.

If this is what is the last straw for “principled people”, then they never had any “principles” to begin with.

I think P.T. Barnum predicted this, and least apocryphally.

Politics is perception. And the look this gives off reeks of a pathetic money grab. Like something you’d see on a late-night infomercial. What makes it worse was his BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! While our country burns Trump is making a quick buck. Sad.

Trump cards initially made available for purchase for $99 each

Second Edition, $199 each.

It's not as traditional as financing a political campaign with lobbyists and corporate donations, but truth be told, these kinds of people hate him, and US. And that's why I'll be happy to vote for him again, first term errors aside.

The Trump Presidential NFT's will only increase in value.

No investment portfolio is complete without a strong position in these NFT's.

There are risks associated with investing in securities. Investing in stocks, bonds, Trump NFT's, exchange traded funds, mutual funds, and money market funds involve risk of loss. Loss of principal is possible. Some high risk investments may use leverage, which will accentuate gains & losses.

A few hours before he released a formal video statement attacking censorship and government collusion with Big Tech. That isn’t being covered.

Sometimes I have to remind myself Trump is basically a businessman and marketing genius.

Politics was never his prime directive so he’s using the tools he was born with and perfected to pursue a way to raise money and market himself.

I too would like to know what his plan for these funds is. It’s not like it will make a huge difference to his campaign next year. Then again I’m not a genius like he is so... Maybe it will make more sense later.

The Left’s portrayal of MAGA as a cult just received a huge boost from Trump himself - call it what you will - but the independents that we need to win elections are horrified at his mental state after this.

It’s a political reality.

The echo chamber in here is not representative of the idiotic general voting public - and we are not the ones who sway elections. We are the ones who make phone calls, knock on doors, and donate $.

This entire fiasco was an unforced error, and countless DNC fundraising commercials have now been written by Trump.

Really is no different than selling t-shirts, flags, bobble heads, etc. Not one bit different. The ONLY difference is, there is a faction of anti-Trump, anti-crypto and anti-NFT folks here on FR. For the most part, they fear it, because they don't understand it and have no desire to learn. So, automatically, it's a bad thing.

In reality, it's pretty damn smart, especially considering that these will go on the secondary market, likely sell for a lot more than $99 and Trump gets 10% of those sales, as well. Just because it's not understood by a large portion of those here, doesn't mean it's stupid.

Just checked the secondary market. These cards having been sold out are now on the secondary market for over $200 each.

"According to data from OpenSea, at time of writing, the collection’s trading volume is 900 ETH, or about $1.08 million. Its floor price is about 0.19 ETH, or about $230 – more than double the original price of $99.

Some tokens are selling for much higher prices. The one-of-ones, the rarest of the NFTs, which comprise 2.4% of the 45,000 unit collection (roughly 1,000), are selling for as much as 6 ETH at the time of writing. One of these rare trading cards, of the 45th president standing in front of the Statue of Liberty holding a torch, is currently listed at 20 ETH, or about $24,000."
