The fire started at around 1:15 p.m. at Kreider Farms on the 1400 block of Mt. Pleasant Road in South Annville Township.
According to Annville-Cleona fire Chief Philip Snavely, the fire caused $12 million in damages and has killed an estimated 250,000 chickens.
Fire officials say the fire began in the middle of a poultry barn row. The middle barn became fully enflamed, but crews were able to keep the fire neutralized to the one building.
Fire crews continue to work the scene of the fire as of 10:09 p.m.

I saw the smoke cloud yesterday while driving home from the VA. Glad I didn't have to smell it!

I’ve lost count on how many chicken farms and meat processing facilities have burned.

Chickens smoking? I suppose it could have been electrical. Spontaneous combustion of litter seems unlikely in winter.

What’s the correlation factor between this event and the projected number of feral brawls at Popeye’s?

No injuries were reported in the fire. No chickens were available for comment

Combine this with EU countries like Germany and the Netherlands shutting down thousands of farms, and forbidding the use of fertilizers. Agenda 2030 or whatever it is, in action.

This is why there should be sprinkler systems on chicken farms loaded with BBQ sauce.

The KFC chickens formed a bucket brigade, but, alas, it didn’t help.

The great reset! To depopulate the Earth to keep mother nature and climate change safe by way of starving the people. The Bible in the last book describes the latter days of extreme hunger, hunger like we have never ever seen in our lifetimes. Even the great depression can’t compare to what is coming. GOD HELP US!

Local authorities put out an alarm for volunteers to help fight the fire, but they all chickened out.
