As the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa reaches the final stages of its $70 million refresh—which included major renovations to its accommodations, lobby and Trellis Spa—the luxury property has unveiled a suite paying homage to one of the city's most famous Houstonians. A standout among the newly renovated guest quarters is a two-room haven coined the Bush Suite, honoring the late President George H. W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush.
"41" called the Houstonian Hotel home during his presidency, even listing its address, 111 North Post Oak Lane, on his driver's license as his official Houston address. He and Mrs. Bush took up residence in what was formerly known as Suite 271, a suite with adjoining rooms on the second floor of the property. The secure locale provided a place where Secret Service officials could monitor floors above and below, and an exterior window was added as a means to keep the president from danger in case of an emergency.
The 680-square-foot suite has since been renovated and decorated to look consistent with the hotel's other new suites, and is now available for guests to experience during an overnight stay.

Can I pay prostitutes to pee on the beds?.............
Well, there’s one place I won’t be staying if I visit Houston.
Does Domino’s Pizza deliver there?
No thanks. 🙂
The Westin City Center in DC could also market the history of room 727.
Stay outta da Bushes hotel.
Did he take his Washington mistress there?
Do they serve broccoli 🥦 now?
no
So Bush Sr. listed a hotel room as his TX address?
I knew he was a fake Texan.
I’ve stayed at the Houstonian Hotel a number of times back in the late 90s and it was a bit overrated.
I’ll pass.
It was overrated in 1992 when I was there on expense account and 21 and in love with all the texas gals who could hold their liquor when wine coolers were the rage. The glory days of Houston per the locals were the post NASA build out days of the oil boom, downhill ever since who shot JR days of the mid 80s.
My soul is still looking for the texas bar between roadhouse and Rush(1991) that does not turn out to be filled with Titty Twister harpies.
The oil boom is back in swing, nobody notices. Cause it aint cool to be a black gold miner.
Stayed here on a sales boondoggle. Thought the place was great.
Did he remember his whereabouts on Nov 22, 1963?
