In all 38 member countries in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Reeves says there are now more young women than young men with bachelor’s degrees. Forty per cent of 18-year-old women in Britain head off to college, compared to 29 per cent of their male peers.
That gap is one of many warning signs of a male malaise, especially for boys and men at the lower rungs on the economic and social ladders. “Things are worse than I thought,” says Reeves, a senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution. “I knew some of the headlines about boys struggling at school and on campus, men losing ground in the labour market and fathers losing touch with their children. I thought that perhaps some of these were exaggerations. But the closer I looked, the bleaker the picture became.”
How bleak? Deaths of despair from drug overdoses, suicides and alcohol-related illnesses are nearly three times higher among men than women.

Feminists and the Left have brought a war to men and many are suffering.
Maybe we need to start discussing toxic femininity and the systemic sexism that has caused the disparity in enrollment.

but for various reasons I am on a college campus quite often and hear the stories from the girls who cant get dates to dances.
That kind of work is shocking.
We are getting beyond talking anymore.
Maybe the guys are smart enough to know that a $400K doctorate in “bikini inspection” isn’t going to get you a real job.
Sorry to hear about the falling glass breaking some pipes on the way down from the broken ceiling. But, what about the people in the room? Some could get lacerated by falling glass.
I still don’t understand why we even let women go to college...but yes, this was bound to result, once we made that fateful choice.
I doubt you would say the same thing about blacks, Jews or Mormans.
But it is, after all, Friday night. Difficult night for some, even in Texas.
There is more money in the trades! Send the manly men in that direction. Besides, the more people with college degrees the less they are worth.

Most women are getting useless degrees, in “studies”. It doesn’t even qualify them to be a barista... especially because they’ll have an attitude that that’s below them since they have a useless piece of paper.

Them going to college didn’t destroy the culture that we’ve had for the past 5,000 years. Women going to college destroyed the family (at least in enough cases) to now destroy the culture by cutting fertility to next to nothing.
Because of my children, I look at the long term, and my culture, the culture that gave humanity virtually everything it has, is now being WIPED OUT by not having enough children.
follow the crime stats if nothing else....
so women are getting more college degrees....all that means is we have a generation or two or unabitious,lazy, aimless males and btw they are the same males that hate women except for their computer generated sweetie.....
