Ok I have swelling legs - they are swollen about 7-12%.
Well played sir!
Actually, there is a purpose to the snark -- at least for me. It is to remind them that posting on FR during what is clearly a medical emergency is not a wise approach, and maybe to remind the next person of the same.
BTW, my neck is shooting streams of blood. Any suggestions?
Try getting laid.
Seriously, though, you are correct.
Congestive heart failure.
Yes the Lasix is the medication they will put you on.
Get some Depend undergarments, you will need them.
My pants are on fire and it looks and feels like the flames have spread to my shirt tail. Any suggestions?

Too late. I just ordered another half-ounce.
You need to move to Calgary, STAT. As part of their ‘green plan’, our communist city council has dimmed many street lights and keep a great number off at night. The blue glow that you are emitting, will help people to see better at night.
You’re welcome.
People have to learn that the first stop is 911, THEN you can post... at least until the ambulance gets there.
> Call a doctor! <
Yes, Yossarian, you are correct. You can fool around with some things, like with telephone service that fades in and out. But you cannot fool around with health issues.
Please, djf. Call your doctor, now. It’s not worth rolling the dice on this. We need as many healthy conservatives as we can get!
Haven’t seen any follow up posts from djf. Either he or she has gone to get care, or..... well, I hope they went to get care.
” It’s heart problems or fluid retention.”
In my wife it was blood clots.
Sounds like heart failure.
Get to a doctor ASAP, emergency room if necessary.
OK folks, I just fell from the top of a 30 foot extension ladder onto some steelwork at the construction site I was trying to rob from. There’s a piece of rebar that went clear through my left ear and out my right eye. My visions getting a little blurry and I’m feeling a little nauseous. Should I call my GP or should I just try sleeping it off? Need advice. Thanks.
Yeah, we don’t need any more entries on to the FR Memorial Wall…
DJF, get help NOW, but only AFTER you get care, ping us if you can!
Don't just see a doctor - see a COMPETANT Doctor.
What Is Edema?
In simplest terms, edema is excess fluid accumulation in your body tissues.
It can happen anywhere in the body but is most often noticed in the lower extremities, including the lower legs, ankles and feet.
What Causes Edema?
There are various lifestyle factors and underlying causes that can lead to edema, including
venous insufficiency
obstructive sleep apnea
heart failure
cirrhosis of the liver
kidney disease
diabetes
thyroid disorders
deep vein thrombosis (blood clots)
allergic reactions
certain medications
cancers
infection
pregnancy
preeclampsia
excessive alcohol consumption
sitting and standing for long periods
previous radiation or chemotherapy treatments
Symptoms
While the most common symptom of edema is excessive swelling, other symptoms include skin that looks puffy, stretched and shiny.
Complications
If left untreated, severe edema can lead to:
worsening swelling
decreased mobility
overly stretched skin
extreme itchiness
decreased blood circulation
Call me naive but I didn’t expect all that here.
Sorry, I think my post #49 autocorrected away from you. Please see that post.
I was trying to accelerate some rotary saw blades to Mach 2 and accidentally stepped in front of one. It sliced my head clean off. Now I’m getting dizzy because my head is rolling down a hill. What do you think I should do?
