I think everyone needs to sleep this off. Many Ticked off people looking for something/someone to point fingers at.
It would also be a good time for Pres. Trump to keep quite for awhile.

His only fault was that he didn’t fix the election fraud when he had the chance. Fixing it would have been much about rallying the people to demand it get fixed.

Trump put an incredible amount of time in money into this election. Those rally’s were not easy. I don’t think anybody else could have done a better job when it comes to the actual election. We were always doomed by the vote fraud that was never fixed.

It’s up to us to educate ourselves and not base our voting just on people we like or respect. That’s only one factor. In the end, the voters did the voting, and those who voted for the wrong people are at fault.

“He isn’t POTUS, and wasn’t on any of the ballots. How can he be blamed?”

CORRECT!!!!

If the Reps. take control of the House I consider that a great success, the Senate was a long shot anyway. All I wanted out of this midterm was to stop the destruction Biden and Dems are doing and that can happen with Reps. in control of the House.

I want to know why DeSantis has the support of Paul Ryan. I notice some of you Trump backstabbers are ignoring this little fact.

Simple. Ryan hates Trump. Trump destroyed Ryan’s political hopes and dreams.

That said, you can’t always pick your supporters.

As to Trump, I’m happy he won in 2016. I campaigned for him.

But I’m done. He’s turning into that loud mouthed uncle that you love, but just want him to go home already.

I’m done.

Strangely, since Rush sadly passed away, LIV isn’t used (as much?!).
I have used it to locals here, but haven’t seen that term online for a long time.

They had no idea the law was going to be overturned completely and got caught flat footed. Quite simply pro life people didn’t put out any message about the protection of babies people are visual a few ads here and there about the Democrats actually supported probably would have done the trick

MAGA is a bit puzzling for a slogan. If a liberal had started using it first, we would be saying “What do you mean America isn’t great?”

No man has worked harder to get out the vote then President Trump. I listened to people who read the polls and I was not hearing red wave only the political talking heads were in an attempt to influence the election.

The electorate is locked in their own conclusions some right and some wrong. What we have is more of a tide that ebbs and flows. The trick is figuring when and how high.

President Trump brought more people out to vote than we have seen in many years. The problem is the Dems have countered with effortless voting by brining out those people who would not vote but will with mail in ballots and many times voting for them illegally.

Chill out our trust is not in any one politician, and we need to be smart. Trump gets votes from across the politcal spectrum and at the moment we have no one else that can do that, And no matter how much I like DeSantis he lives in a conservative period in Florida s electorate.

We need to focus on getting rid of these mail in ballots or find a way to make sure voters actually did vote. lets not get upset when we are looking for a big wave while the tide is slowly rising in its due course.

A most un-needed THREAD!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...I thought FR was above this. Let it die!!!! take some deep breaths. Please everybody STOP!
I voted two times for TRUMP.
I will vote for him again if he is our candidate!
He has done more for our country against all pressure, than any President in recent history.
Do I agree with his bashing and name calling DeSantis and others?
Not at ALL!!!!!!
and I even agreed, to some of your disappointment,the other night on a rally thread ,that his name calling is wrong!!!!...
BUT that said,
we need to all CHILL and don't be a part of this tearing our party leaders down right now. Take a deep breath and if necessary pull away from the computer for a few days.
Above all PRAY!! PRAY!! PRAY for AMERICA!
It’s coincidence, that out of nowhere the polls had it so wrong about the races.
It’s coincidence that people stated on exit polls that inflation, the economy, and crime were there biggest concerns.
It’s coincidence that all of the Trump people ran on those basic items, and the election was so close.
It’s coincidence that the polls malfunctioned and there appears to be ballot dumps
“In politics there are no coincidences-FDR”
The system is trying convince you to vote for somebody besides Trump. They are afraid of Trump, not DeSantis. Think about that.
NAILED IT!
Best post I have seen on the issue.
It has been less than 2 days since polls closed, we still have unresolved races, and RINOS, NEVER-TRUMPERS, LEFTISTS and many Freepers want to throw Trump under the bus.
I think this all is orchestrated to keep Trump from announcing and maybe egg on an indictment.
IMHO DeSantis could be a wonderful President—at some point in time; but I don’t believe that he has not been thoroughly vetted yet.
Masters, Oz, Walker, Mastriano, Dixon, Bolduc... Am I missing anyone? All down in flames. Perfectly winnable seats if we had reasonable candidates but blown because of Trump.
Oz, I agree with you, terrible pick but the rest? Your candidates for the rest would be the "winnable candidates" of the usual ilk, assistant democrats who love abortion? If not then who? Name names.
Those who defend Trump were touting his endorsement record in the primary.
Those who defend Trump would have been the loudest voices if the red tsunami materialized.
Now they just have excuses and name-calling.
Trump endorsed horrible candidates (Dr Azz, Walker) that were not conservatives nor MAGA.
Trump did not prepare a nationwide strategy nor coach his candidates in how to handle voting by mail.
Trump did not fund his candidates despite raising a war chest of over $100 million. He used almost as much for his legal bills as he gave to candidates.
Trump did not focus on governor races in battleground states so we could eliminate vote by mail for 2024. Instead, every covid tyrant was re-elected or replaced by another tyrant, ensuring states like PA, MI, NV will have plenty of vote by mail fraud for 2024.
This was a record low gain by any out-of-power party since 2002 (due to 9/11). Trump could not have had better conditions....a POTUS with record-low approval rating...40 year high inflation....$4/gal gasoline....risk of nuclear war....spiraling crime rates....6000 illegals per day.
But Trump did not prepare for the vote by mail fraud, just as he did not prepare for it in 2020 and he will not prepare for it in 2024.
Thinking like elections start on Labor Day is a big factor in why we lost.....and we lost. There is no way to sugar coat it.
Yes, there is fraud. It is the same fraud from 2020, but nobody did anything about it except some on our side who became poll watchers.....and Gov DeSantis.
Anyone who blames the GOPe for this loss should look at Trump who endorsed McCarthy for speaker, McDaniel as party chair and other lousy picks.
This was Trump’s party and he screwed the pooch.
Trump could have done different things but this would likely have been the outcome anyway. There is no fixing the widespread stupidity of the low information voters.
Exactly.
However add to it that this election was totally corrupt and in your face.
Examining every act Trump took and dissecting it piece by piece is not really needed to figure out why the election went as it did.
#1: There is no way that the majority of voters in PA want a brain dead, unable to communicate without major assistance person to represent them for the next six years.
#2: Just as there was no way the majority of US voters wanted a president who is senile.
And to add to that, both of whom have a very questionable history going back many years.
So how did this happen?
There is only one possibility. As Trump did not make it happen and the voters did not make it happen. who/what made it happen?
To refute my theory you must accept and believe that the voters in PA want a brain dead man to represent them in the senate and you must believe that the majority of US voters want as president of the United States a senile old man whose entire family has a questionable history.
I don’t.
I agree with rrrod. Too many candidates on our side whined about the economy and all the other ills but weren’t clear about what they would do to fix it. They let the Dems make up the solution as being cutting SS. Our leadership at the national and some state levels were also AWOL on attacking the fraud situation. We still got ‘drop and roll’ in many of the big states.
The FL guy seems like a superhero now but we need to see how he shakes out before pledging our undying love. We get school girl giddy too quick.
