Trump 'furious with Melania for telling him to endorse Dr. Oz' and is 'screaming at everybody' this morning after lackluster midterm results...while Republicans blame him for defeats and turn to DeSantis for 2024

Donald Trump is said to be 'livid' this morning and 'screaming at everybody' after a lackluster performance by Republicans in the midterms - and is even rumored to be blaming his wife Melania for advising him to endorse defeated Pennsylvania candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.

The House and Senate both still hang in the balance today despite the promised 'red tsunami' of Republican support. While results in key swing states like Arizona and Georgia are still pending, many are calling Trump the biggest loser of the night with Republicans swearing him off, and throwing their weight behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for a 2024 run.

For Trump, the midterms were supposed to be an amuse-bouche before another White House campaign.

But some of his most prolific candidates crashed and burned overnight. Oz, a TV star turned politician, suffered one of the most embarrassing defeats of the night, losing to John Fetterman in Pennsylvania.

According to The New York Times' Maggie Haberman, who recently released a scathing biography about Trump, the former president is particularly 'furious' that Oz lost - and is 'blaming everyone... including his wife' for advising him to support him in April.

'Trump is indeed furious this morning, particularly about Mehmet Oz, and is blaming everyone who advised him to back Oz -- including his wife, describing it as not her best decision, according to people close to him,' she tweeted.

If Trump doesn’t run in 2024, I’d like to see DeSantis and Jim Jordan as President and Vice President nominees...

I have never wanted to not go to a State because of how stupid the voters are, but it’s a new day.

“The left and GOPe made the race about Trump. “

Well, actually Trump made the race about Trump.

I was not against his policies!

I believe you misunderstand what I posted.

His policies were great. However, the GOPe did not legislate his policies because they are the uniparty and opposed them.

As great as it was for a few years, it was all erased.

Like it or not, if you step away from FR, you will quickly realize that for many of your fellow Americans (who vote) the constant drumbeat of the media and the behavior of Trump took the spotlight off of his “policy” and put it on his personality.

We ignore this at our own peril.

This is to whip up the circular firing squad. The fact that fatazz and Linda are eitting verbal diarrhea means they think they have a chance now. The heck with Trump and DeSantis.

Looks like the Pennsylvania voters didn’t like OZ but why in the world would any thinking person vote for Fetterman? Pennsylvania would have come out ahead to just not vote at all.

He should be furious but he needs to look to himself. We lost because Dems ran against Trump and he has Biden-like disapproval numbers.

I have little interest in DeSantis but Trump either has to step aside in 2024 or we have to defeat him in the primaries. He hasn’t learned the lesson of 2020 and the nation is more important than one man. There’s no evidence he will be able to close the deal in 2024 after losses in 2020 and 2022.

They have been saying that for years. I'm just saying it now. Don't paint me with the Qanon brush.

"They", saying it for years is exactly the point. After seven years of them saying it, you have now succumbed to it.

And ha!, don't paint me with a Qanon brush. I hate Qanon.

Well these "fellow Americans" are about to get what they voted for, good and hard.

I cannot believe who he lost to.

That's because you don't know Oz in depth.

I can't believe he was nominated, and I can't believe anyone ever thought he could be elected to the US Senate.

Telling the truth, I wavered a bit when I saw how bad Fetterman's disability was, but I was mistaken - the vote was about the gross insult to the people of Pennsylvania that was the Oz nomination - Fetterman was just the way to respond.

Oz lost because the communist news networks kept showing Oz as a mean person for pointing out the obvious.

Well then do you think they will be any kinder to DeSantis IF he even runs? If you do, I have a bridge to sell ya.

Nothing any candidate can do about this kind of cheesy smear journalism.

“With Trump, it’s always somebody else’s fault.”

The counter to this is.

With some people its “always Trump who is at fault.”

I think it is YOU that does not understand...

The media are going to do this to EVERY republican that runs.

They are not going to be nicer to any lesser man than Trump.

So why for for someone not as good as Trump?

Who may fail worse under that kind of pressure?

Who may give Democrats what they want in order to make them say nice things? (they wont)

Got it? We need MORE fighters like Trump, not less

You are correct about the other states, I believe. I don’t think AZ even matters with the other states lost. It didn’t in 2020. Remember, also, that Trump campaigned hard against an invisible opponent to get the sweep he got. So, now there is no national opposition to the Dems.

No other Republican is going to make real changes. No leading Republicans support MAGA. Trump has proved that, and he was it.

There is no painless way out of our predicament, now. I think we will soon see which Democrat really wants to be in charge.
