My summer job between high school and college was at a busy gas station. It was me snd the owner. I worked 84 hours the first week, alone. 7 twelve hour days. It wasn’t fun but I didn’t cry. The diner next door was kind enough to deliver.

When my shop began doing business in Massachusetts in 1998, I had to tell my office staff (in Texas) to not guess if the caller was male or female when a Massachusetts area code came up.

Native MA women tend to have a male voice.

I needed to stay/work in MA for two years and can verify this.

I don't recommend ANYONE patronize Starbucks, but it's incumbent on would-be customers to let management know about unseemly freak employees. The nearby Albertson's supermarket where I do most of my shopping had a front end manager who was an absolute LGBTQP+++ freak, an obvious butch lesbian with head shaved on the sides and weird colored mohawk, and face piercings that were just disgusting, and incompatible with a public service business. I complained to corporate about it, and within a week, she was gone. Not sure if they fired her or promoted her to an office job, but at least I didn't have to look at her ugly mug and risk interacting with her.
