Well . . . . . it has begun.
I was told when I was younger that I would more than likely develop arthritis and now, at 74, My hands are quickly becoming sore and stiff albeit not RA type deformed.
I have access to OTC pain creams and rather than ask about this one or that, what are my fellow FReepers using to keep their nimble fingers nimble.
All orgamic ?
Lidocain ?
etc.
Thanks
Yes, CBD salves works wonders.
It makes a thousand percent difference to my arthritis if I stop eating sugar in any form, or carbohydrates that metabolize quickly to sugar: flour, corn, rice, pasta, potatoes, sweet vegetables. My diet becomes meat and green vegetables only. This has not only reduced the weight my stressed joints have to bear but reduces the inflammation that makes the pain worse. Most of the time I’m not even aware I have arthritis, and they tell me it’s pretty bad—imagining reveals quite a bit of bone distortion. Try it. The only time I have to use pain meds is when I fall off the wagon and eat sugars.
Wow. Just looked that up. I’ve never heard of it and I’ve been fighting arthritis for a while. Will be purchasing some. Currently I use a combo of stinging nettle tincture, turmeric/curcumin and put about a teaspoon of borax in my lemon/tea water a couple times a week. This moringa looks amazing. Do you have a particular brand you recommend?
The Dr. actually went on to Amazon and showed me what I should buy: Pura Vita brand capsules, 50mg.
Awesome. Thank you.
MSM
Glucosamine
Chondroitin
LOTS of Vitamin C
Also:
Grape seed extract
Pine Bark
Me too. Ping for later.

I know Tylenol is a good pain reliever, but I'll have this pain every day and I don't think I want to be using Tylenol every day.
anyone ?

Recall now. Helichrysum.
Lemongrass good for repelling mosquitos
” . . .spicy sausage link from costco.”

Unlikely to be regular spices.
Likely to be MSG or “spices”, “natural flavors”, “yeast extract”.
Watch you don’t give yourself a rash.
Eucalyptus oil may have more benefits then helichrysom.
Lemongrass oil sucks for mosquito repellent, has more anti-inflammatory properties then helichrysom, and won’t irritate your skin.
Woof
The oil group blend mentioned for arthritis pain relief - wintergreen, ginger, black pepper and helichrysum - 1:1:1:1- are to be then diluted at least 1:4 with a neutral carrier oil and applied sparingly at first with a test run.
The reason is that, of course, they are quite potent and could conceivably redden or irritate the skin.
