If McCarthy is not going to impeach Garland day one, which I am very doubtful of, he has to go.

Recent convo with two conservative congressmen.

1) McCarthy will be speaker. NO ONE is challenging him. Jordan does not want the job.

2) McC is according to one “malleable” on several issues.

3) Committee chairman really control the power, and they are MAGA. “There will be hearings, done the RIGHT way. They will have their lawyers. And Mayorkas WILL go. We will either impeach and convict him or force him out. We have ways.”

4) One of those ways is the Holman Act (deny all pay and benefits to a public employee who isn’t doing his job. Can’t fire.)

5) NOT going to impeach Biteme. Waste of time, not enough votes in Senate. Will spend effort on Mayorkas and Grand Moff Garland who are “gettable.”

6) BOTH agreed they absolutely can’t be like DemoKKKRats and do nothing but investigate, impeach, that even though Biteme will veto them they have to submit a “stack of bills” for the people and force him to veto, veto, veto.

It looks like you are tilting the current polls towards the GOP, to counter the bias of the media/academic polls? I don’t have a problem with that. In fact, your results are very close to where I think these races are. I do think Lake is out-performing Masters in Arizona though. Hopefully both win. There was a Monmouth poll out today which showed a generic ballot lead for the GOP of +6 amongst registered voters. Not likely voters, registered voters. That translates into +10 give or take a point or two.

CNBC has their generic ballot at +2 with registered voters, so more like +6 with likely voters. That’s pretty much where Trafalgar, Rasmussen, and Harris all were: +6. For the record, that’s about what the official results were in 2010: +6.8 GOP, with a 63 seat gain.

I think all of that is good. I don’t have a problem with McCarthy, especially if no one else wants the job! The only impeachment hearings I want to see is if inconvertible evidence is uncovered with changes minds of voters with regards to Democrats. In other words, I don’t want hold a bunch of hearings, discover what we already know: the Democrats are crooks, and then lose in 2024, because no one else knows it, or cares. I liked your Congressmen’s terms: ‘gettable’. They actually think Garland’s ‘gettable’? I wonder about that one.

I agree that Biden impeachment is iffy at best. Bur Majorcas and Garland have to be sanctioned and if the Holman act is a way to do it , i am cool with it. Cut off salary to force them to quit, then the GOP Senate majority, with hopefully Mittens as the only troublemaker, wont confirm anyone new, and force them to have “Acting”. Also include Wray in the salary withholding. And anr other senior DOJ &FBI thugs that we can.

And call them all from the bogus Jan 6 as wittinesses, asking them where they came up with the garbage they spewed. I look forward to grillings.
