Nearly 20 bricks of suspected fentanyl, some marked with cable news network CNN’s logo, were seized at the southern border, according to officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Authorities said the packages were stopped at the Pharr International Bridge Cargo Facility in Texas on Thursday, Oct. 13, when officers encountered a commercial tractor-trailer arriving from Mexico.
A border patrol officer ordered the tractor-trailer to pull over for further inspection using “non-intrusive inspection” equipment and screening by a canine team. As officers inspected the vehicle, they uncovered 19 packages of alleged fentanyl concealed within the tractor.
Authorities said the packages had a combined weight of 44.35 pounds and a street value of $1,036,000.

Is that like "Alleged Sun rising in the Eastern sky"?
Shipping label?
LOL. This is kinda funny. Who says drug cartels don’t have a sense of humor?
At this point, I think we have government agents being told to do things and this is their form of protest... everyone is employed by the government is sending tap codes... 44LBs of fentanyl is enough to kill 2 million people. We are in dark times.
Their regular broadcast puts me to sleep right away. Good branding by the cartels for a narcotic.
This is full scale invasion by China. It’s weapons of mass destruction. Chemical warfare.
It’s China’s equivalent of the Opium Wars.
I often wondered how CNN management survived their shitty ratings. Now I have a good inkling, “We don't need no shitty ratings!”
CNN needs to make money somehow. Pharmaceuticals are very profitable. Breaking bad news.
If a tiny speck is enough to kill a person, how are these cops, the truck driver, the drug gang alive handling 44 pounds?
It’s right in the article. They use special equipment.
I read somewhere that the cop that overdosed “by touching it” may have actually swallowed some intentionally. Obviously it is in the pills that people take to get high, so “a tiny speck” doesn’t kill a person.
We had the sheriff on the news say that the “new” fentanyl has poor quality control and they are in such a rush to make more that they don’t mix it properly. So one pill might have a huge dose (and kill you) and the next pill has very little affect.
Damn, there goes the CNN Christmas Party handouts......
A buttload of universal precautions.

Not the Bee?
Orlike “Alleged Sun allegedly rising in the alleged Eastern sky”?
Hunter’s now a CNN news contributor? How nice.
