Is there anyone here who can tell me whether the .087% SS increase in 2023 is based on the net amount (after Medicare payment) or the gross monthly amount (before Medicare payment)? I checked MySocialSecurity site, plus several you tube videos which talk about the raise but no one seems to zero in on this.

Since last week, 73,500 Ohioans got the second booster. Not the new bivalent booster, mind you, but the second Covid booster.

Now, I am, as I have made abundantly clear, a proponent of not getting any vaxseems, but if one insists on getting a Covid booster, why not just get the bivalent booster that supposedly works against the current variants?

BTW, 143,553 Ohioans did get the bivalent booster since this time last week.

So far, 10% are double boosted and 6.5% bivalent jabbed. Thee is no way of telling, as far as I can figure out, what percentage of the bivalent jabbed got two booster shots.

I am eagerly awaiting the trail off in the latter numbers. Hoping the numbers peak in two weeks and fall off rapidly from there.
