Following their arrest, the pair failed to return to retrieve their pet - spurring one of the feline's saviors to step up and adopt the animal
The woman has since been able to rehome the kitten, saying amid the chaos, all she cared about was making sure the animal made it out of the mayhem all right

Yes— no heart, no soul, no respect for other forms of life. So happy kitty is now safe and loved.
My experience is very different. I know Black people who are very active in rescue, breeding and showing; and numerous Black veterinarians and vet techs.
lucky it dint scratch one of those things or it’d prolly drown the poor thing...
Natural born killers.
If I had been there, I’d end up in jail or the hospital - but the male would be limp and half drowned in a wrestling choke before his stupid wench (or cops) could pry me off.
How bout a punch in the throat and a boot up your ass? Will you stop then, pretty please?
l love them all, wild animals, rescue cats that live with me,
feral cat(s) that I feed, always give me pleasure. People, not so much.
Low IQ, low impulse control, disproportionately sociopathic.
Cats too.
Obviously wasn’t there, but tossing a kitten a few feet to have it swim, is hardly what I would consider “abuse”. I haven’t been able to find the full video, have found some edited version, but “tossing it like a frisbee” is nonsense.
You can even see them petting the kitten etc at times in the video I have seen.
Maybe there is more video than I have been able to find, I hope there is a LOT more than what I was able to find, because what I saw I have a hard time seeing it as abusive. I have no doubt the Cat wasn’t happy about it, but “abuse” seems a bit of a stretch to me.

The feral cats took 2 years to gain the trust. We installed a cat door window insert in the house. They now love being cats with couch privileges, get medical care, flea treatments, and part of the family on their terms.
ISWYDT........................
You can even see them petting the kitten in parts of the film I’ve seen... what I saw looked like they were just tossing the kitten a few feet and having it swim back to them... Not something I would do, but I really (and I admit I couldn’t find the entire full video) didn’t come across as a major incident of “abuse”.
They weren’t throwing it 500 feet in the air, and they weren’t throwing it like a rag doll or “frisbee”... gently tossed it a few feet into water and it would swim..
No, not something I would likely be doing, but abuse? I don’t know about that... I hope there is way more video than I found... I am sure the kitten didn’t like it, but cats generally don’t like water at all so.
It’s not right to do that to a kitten that has no experience with water, and I would call it abuse. They are stupid, thoughtless people who didn’t care anything about the cat’s welfare.
Some cats take to water, with experience. The majority never do.
“I do not care what it would take, but that cat would not have ‘waited’ for authorities to arrive.”
Me too.
