Feels great to have been one of the ones to cancel his account and to let them know exactly why I cancelled my account.
Mass boycotts WORK. They just need to be organized and actually fulfilled. They are the only tool we have left that is actually effective. Hit them in the pocketbook. The only drawback is laziness, if the boycott requires any personal effort like physically going to a bank and closing an account it fails because of pure human laziness overriding standing on principle. This needs to change to be successful and actually make a difference.

I just tried to close my account and they make it as hard as possible to figure out how.
They say the $2500 was included in the new terms erroneously and they quickly rescinded it.

I missed out on $15 for my foolishness of not having a PayPal account.
Just cancelled mine.
I assume spreading “fake news” about Ukraine, such as having avowed Nazis in their government, will also result in PayPal fining people $2500? Or questioning the need for lockdowns, etc.
But then PayPal is a PRIVATE company, so it’s ok with many here. Right? You can always use other providers, and if they all are answering to the Biden Administration, then you can start your own payment processing operation. Right?
So how far do we allow this degree of Fascism (corporations answering to government without question) to progress before we discover libertarian ideals only exist in Ann Rand’s novels, not in real life - as they create a vacuum that SOMEONE will fill, either our side or THEIR SIDE?

I closed both my PayPal and my Venmo accounts this week. Their job is to process payments - not scan my social postings to arbitrarily decide I offended their wokeness and then reach into my private financial account and take $2,500!
