I just tried to close my account and they make it as hard as possible to figure out how.

Just closed mine. They make you go in and remove “active” accounts. Those are accounts that you’ve used Paypal to pay sometime in the past. I had to delete those one at a time but once I was done I could close the account. :o)

Same here. It’s like playing Whackomole where the little gopher heads go up and down, just barely avoiding your mallet strike to end them. I rarely use that pay method anyway, since there is a service charge.

Go to your account page, Go to Settings. Scroll down the page and you will find “Close my account” at the bottom left.

I ran into that yesterday. I deleted all financial data but couldn't quite figure out how to delete my account. There should be a step by step then, 'Are you sure?' then yes and done.

Logon to your account. Find the "Close Account" option and select it. That's it.
