Hope he gets a piece of the action when Flex Seal uses his story in their future commercials. This will sell sh*t loads of the product now.

He has redeemed the term ‘Florida Man’ - for a while, anyway...

“Duct tape falls apart when wet.”
Duct tape is water resistant. Good for temporary use.

I wish there was a video showing exactly which products he used and how he used them.

Stop hurricane flooding with this one weird trick.
General contractors hate it when you do this...

Nice trick: “After I applied the expandable spray foam, I let it dry for a few hours, and then I sprayed ‘Flex Seal’ liquid rubber on the expandable foam. When that dried, I had a good waterproof seal.” Good job, buddy. And yes, Newsweek is like AOL and useless.

But a few days ago a teen brought his 29’’ tube to be fixed as it was leaking, which normally is easily patched (having done hundreds on the sidewalk by the grace of God), but with this one someone try to patche it with flex tape. Which does not work at pressure since it cannot stretch enough. Worse than using Super Glue or anything other than rubber cement (Slime 1050 best for price and quality).

I don’t think there have been any double-blind, peer reviewed studies that prove this method works. It should be outlawed.
