LINDSEY GRAHAM: "I do NOT want to see Elon Musk become the Henry Ford of our time"
twitter ^ | Oct 6 | Sen. Lindsey Graham

Posted on 10/06/2022 9:18:48 AM PDT by RandFan

@LindseyGrahamSC

When I say I respect @elonmusk I’m not kidding.

I’ve known him for years.

He’s done amazing things by launching satellites to make America competitive in space and producing modern, high-performance electric vehicles.

His Starlink system has also helped in Ukraine.

My concern with his Russian “peace” proposal is he is legitimizing one of the greatest crimes of the 21st century by Putin.

I do NOT want to see Elon Musk become the Henry Ford of our time:

▶️ Great industrialist.

▶️ Genius manufacturer.

▶️ Gives voice to evil in pursuit of peace.

Russia must adhere to the boundaries they agreed to in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum where Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons force — the third largest in the world — in return for assurances their territorial integrity would be protected.

To do otherwise is an insult to Ukraine and will set in motion even more chaos throughout the world.

Wouldn’t hurt if graham paid attention to domestic issues, representing his state, or focusing on the midterms.

Then again, WWMD? (What Would McCain Do)

Henry Ford became a bit of a progressive investigating and interfering in the personal lives of his employees. He thought it was his job to make sure his employees were virtuous. That and his foundation has come to back many liberal causes.

Eugenics is a tough one as so many were conned by it, including Churchill.

“I do NOT want to see Elon Musk become the Henry Ford of our time:”

Henry Ford enabled everyday Americans not just the elites to be able to move and work/live elsewhere.

Which is why the elites want to remove us from our ICE vehicles and then live where they want us to live.

My wife and I, were told by our grandparents, parents and wise aunts/uncles told us to never give up our personal vehicles nor depend on any government for your transportation choices/needs.

Many families, couples and singles escaped from the midwest/southwest/?? during the great depression and drove their vehicles to the west coast for new jobs and places to live.

That exodus westward often opened the labor markets abandoned by those leaving for the west coast.

It also created a need for long distance phones, lines and operators. My wife’s maternal grandmother was a young widowed woman in her 40’s, and she became a phone operator for 2+ decades with a good pay monthly paycheck and help towards her retirement.

Exactly, Eugenics was “accepted science” at the time. Kind of like what “Climate Change” is today.

I don’t want to see Lindsey reelected. But the people [voters] in South Carolina worship, adore, and love him. So it is a fore drawn conclusion that he will be reelected by a land slide well into infinity.

Lindsey Graham needs to stop driving in, or being driven in, an automobile. Damn hypocrite can't benefit from the great efforts of Henry Ford.

Let Lindsey walk, take a horse and buggy, take a ferry, or ride in a train.

...that's not even getting into the goods and services Lindsey Graham benefits from delivered by automobile.

Imagine if the US told Britain, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, when they began to battle Germany in WW 1?

Except European nations have been around for a very long time and fought countless brutal wars and had dictators long, long before America was even founded, and they still managed to develop the most advanced civilization on the planet and give us the basis of most of our technologies and norms today.
Europe has managed to do quite well without American intervention.
Hitler is not the first evil director Europe has had through history and they managed to deal with the others without US intervention.

The thing is, even if you push Russia out this round, who is to say 5-10 years down the road they won’t try to return?>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sure they will if America elects another fake President like Joe Biden.

Allow the cheat and you’ll have Russian and Chinese soldiers running all over us.

The answer is to pacify Russia now, make sure they allow Professional sports into their country and billions of dollars of Pick up trucks, tail gate party equipment and Yuge shipments of steak from Wyoming. Then the Russians will want to be just like us. Its really a simple recipe that works.

Well Musk is not Ford.
So far I find nothing wrong with Musk's ideas outside of business. He can have all the children he wants as far as I am concerned.
He has all the money to look after then.
