Henry Ford became a bit of a progressive investigating and interfering in the personal lives of his employees. He thought it was his job to make sure his employees were virtuous. That and his foundation has come to back many liberal causes.

Well Musk is not Ford. So far I find nothing wrong with Musk's ideas outside of business. He can have all the children he wants as far as I am concerned. He has all the money to look after then.
