ORLANDO, FLORIDA - SEPTEMBER 29: A car sits in floodwater after Hurricane Ian on September 29, 2022 in Orlando, Florida. The hurricane brought high winds, storm surge and rain to the area
Jimmy Patronis, Florida’s chief financial officer and state fire marshal, warned during an interview on Thursday that con artists often look for ways to take advantage of people following major natural disasters, including tricking people into signing away their claims.
“You have these predators that will come in, and they will go door-to-door canvassing neighborhoods that they see the damage and they will sign over their claims to contractors or they will have unscrupulous public adjusters and you will complicate that claims process by adding a bunch of parasites that are going to damage your ability to get made whole any faster,” Patronis warned on Newsmax. “So, there’s good ones in life and there’s bad ones. It’s a rule of numbers.”
“Unfortunately, during times like this, the bad once show up in droves,” he cautioned. “So I’ve been pleading, you know, as you’re a policyholder … call your agent, call your carrier, or call my office. This will be the best way to ensure that your claim is being handled properly, and my office, we love handling people’s claims, we do a great job at it.”

So, there’s good ones in life and there’s bad ones.
It’s a rule of numbers. Unfortunately, during times like this, the bad once show up in droves. So I’ve been pleading, you know, as you’re a policyholder … call your agent, call your carrier, or call my office.
This will be the best way to ensure that your claim is being handled properly, and my office, we love handling people’s claims, we do a great job at it.
Amen to that. Gators gotta eat too and SPJNK!
Specific kind of predator
Tie a rope around their waist, throw em in the swamp.
Democrats, I should think.
Erotic Spanking?
I’ve already gotten several scam calls trying to lure unsuspecting suckers into a pit. And I’m in Texas.
Some people just .....

Apparently some people have too much time on their hands.
shoot/hang/electrocute them as warning to all predators.
No doubt.
Kissing?

Well, they've got something on their hands....
“These people should be alligator bait”
Ashley Moody is the next best thing
Scamming must happen after all natural disasters. After the fire there were FB pages set up by people offering help. Some just wanted my name and info to show up and con me out of more. It was so frustrating trying to be homeless and survive the scum ripping me off. You should have seen what dumps people tried to rent to me, often without running water. One family locked me behind a gate on a mountain insisting that I should care for senile grandpa!
