Being a democrat globalist means putting party before family, religion, country, and state.

It means being the worst a person can be.

It wasn’t always like this but it is now.

They want a disaster.

They want to see DeSantis humiliated and destroyed.

I would even go so far as to bet that the Biden cronies in the FEMA will be extremely slow at whatever help they provide, IF ANY AT ALL.

They want to have a huge humanitarian aid disaster like Puerto Rico on steroids...............................

America in the modern age. Even hurricane threats are political.

Hurricane Katrina was George W. Bush’s fault. Some were saying Bush ordered the Navy Seals to blow holes in the dikes around New Orleans to deliberately flood the city.

Although NPR certainly didn’t work out well, I am wondering if there ought to be media “companies” operating at the federal level and in each state — and controlled by the Chief Executive. The Florida Media Outlet would be totally under the control of DeSantis. He doesn’t like how someone reported the news? He fires them. He wants more coverage of “this”? He gets it. He wants less coverage of “that”? He gets it.

CNN, MSNBC, AP, and all the others keep doing what they do. The governor can’t control them. But he ought to control his own outlet.

Imagine what Trump could have done with a Federal Media Outlet that totally presented his side of things during his administration. Much better than NPR which is “objective” and not controlled by the President.

It’s all part of the game. After it hits and damage is done, they’ll say Desantis was nowhere to be found.

They’ll be the first to tell everyone DeSantis didn’t do anything during the hurricane, he couldn’t handle it, he was a terrible leader during the storm, he did few press conferences, etc. etc. etc.

If people die because emegency info wasn’t properly disseminated, or worse, intentionally throttled, the media companies should be sued and/or prosecuted.

As I recall, the Mayor of Miami is a pro-business Republican.

Quite unexpected, since the 1960 vintage Cubans are now outnumbered by Latin Americans and 1980 Cubans, who usually vote Democrat.

Democrat as president = hurricanes are governor’s fault.
Republican as president = hurricanes are president’s fault.

The Democrats have been politicizing weather as long as I can remember.

I was living in the Boston area during the Blizzard of 1978. That was basically a Cat 1 hurricane with snow - that stalled for two days. Parts of southern New England got as much as four feet of snow. Coastal damage was very extensive.

Anyway, there was Governor Mike Dukakis in his sweaters all over TV. He was on every channel practically 24/7 telling viewers that he was "rolling up his sleeves" and getting us dug out. After the storm, they even had him up in a helicopter "surveying the damage."

Mike to the rescue!

In actuality, the situation was disastrously handled. Dukakis claimed credit for closing down the roads but that happened AFTER the storm. Thousands of motorists were stranded on the highways trying to get home from work and it took the National Guard to rescue them. Many side streets in the Boston area did not get plowed out for weeks.

The Dukakis Administration was caught flat-footed by the storm but due to all the fawning press coverage of "Tax Hike Mike" and his sweaters, he came out smelling like a rose and this was the catalyst to his presidential run ten years later, running on a platform of "competence."

The Media has to downplay the articulate DeSantis because basement Biden will be hiding and later do a flyover.

You think Bush got crucified for doing a reasonable job with Katrina, you ainā€™t seen nothinā€™ yet. According to the entire lying media/government alliance (next week), DiSantis is about to commit a criminal act of negligence as he completely screws up the hurricane relief efforts of hero Biden and FEMA. Unlike Bush, DiSantis will not go fetal position for the beating. DiSantis fights back.
