First Monkeypox Case Recorded in Boston Public Schools Community

A person linked to the Boston Public Schools community has monkeypox, local families were told Monday.
Boston 25 News reports a letter has now been circulated to the school community.
In the missive, Acting Superintendent Dr. Drew Echelson and Incoming Superintendent Mary Skipper wrote, “An adult member of our BPS community has been diagnosed with monkeypox.”
The school system reportedly worked closely with the Boston Public Health Commission and the affected person to identify and notify exposed individuals, officials said.

We'll likely never know who the infectious person is. Like AIDS, monkeypox has developed its own "civil rights."
Has anyone else noticed that when you type "monkeypox" in a google browser, it is flagged as an unknown or incorrectly spelled word now? A month ago, that didn't happen. It actually "corrected" the spelling by capitalizing it.

It is not deadly. One US death so far, so mandatory vaccination would be insane.
It is not airborne, so mandatory masking would be insane.
It is primarily contracted through homosexual anal sex, so quarantining people who do not engage in homosexual anal sex would be insane.

They say estimated 23,500 have been reported. They don’t know the actual number, they have to guess? Is the report-counting happening in Philadelphia or Atlanta? In that case the real number is probably 12.
