Utah Gov. Spencer Cox ripped rowdy irreverent fans who chanted “-—- the Mormons” during a football match between Oregon and BYU Saturday.
“Religious bigotry alive and celebrated in Oregon,” the Republican governor tweeted in response to a video of the hateful chant at the University of Oregon home game.
Oregon Ducks fans can be heard repeating the line at least twice before the ugly chant trails off in one video. The school and its student section both apologized Sunday for the “offensive and disgraceful” chant in a series of tweets.

Sounds like the mormons are getting their magic underwear in a knot over a bunch of rowdy college kids.

    “Dan-ny Ainge! Dan-ny Ainge! Dan-ny Ainge!”
My high school used to play North Eugene. A friend sat in the stands with a “Don’t cry, Danny” sign. That was about as uncivil as it got in the ‘70s. And Ainge still ran rings around us.

No. It sounds like the Governor is a little pissed over a bunch of bigoted college kids.
By the way, Mormon is spelled with a capital like any other religion. Which makes me curious. Are you from Oregon?

And the commies at Duke got their pretty pink panties in a uproar over something that never even happened.
Which is probably what led to this.
People who make false claims of victimhood should be punished harshly.
In this case I would be in favor of whiny girl being banned from sports for life and Duke being banned from collage sports for ten years.
Let them sit and think about what they have done.

In Southern Oregon the Mormon Church is quite strong. Portland is in the unchurched Northwest.
