A funny thing happened in Ukraine today...
Statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, by General Igor Konashenkov, September 10, 2022:
"Russian troops that operate near Balakleya and Izyum to be redeployed for reinforcement at Donetsk direction in order to reach preestablished objectives of special military operation. With this purpose, Izyum-Balakleya group of troops had been redeployed to the Donetsk People's Republic within 72 hours. Various deceptive and demonstrative manoeuvres had been carried out marking real action of the troops within the abovementioned operation. The enemy had been under powerful fire attacks with the involvement of aviation, missile troops and artillery for preventing any damage to Russian troops. Over 2,000 Ukrainian and foreign militants, as well as more than 100 units of armoured equipment and artillery have been eliminated within 72 hours."

Russian General Igor Konashenkov and the rest of the Russian general staff are having a bad day, may they continue. Ordering a redeployment to an area under attack as redeployed forces are arriving is kind of embarrassing. Even more when Donestk was under Russian occupation for eight years before the invasion began.
For General Konashenkov to state that the forces in Balakleya and Izyum are being redoployed, is an admission that the entire Russian front in that area has collapsed. What Scott Ritter, Larry Johnson, Gonzalo Lira or the rest of Russia's online shills say to pretend otherwise is irrelevant. There is no organized withdrawal of Russian forces in the area of the Oskil River. The Russian army is being routed and the pace of the rout has not slowed or stopped.
Taking Donestk also means Ukraine is in position to take back territory that Russia has illegally occupied since 2014.
The very points you make testify to the usefulness of drones. Satellites can only sometimes provide real time intelligence just after a pass?). For artillery spotting for instance satellites are only good for static targets.
Drones can observe real time. For moving or at least mobile targets they are invaluable, for counterbattery and other tactical purposes.
As you say, US/WEF/NWO drives Russia back.
Ukraine can’t do shiite by itself.
Ukraine does heaps by itself. Their extended Fabian tactics brought them to this month’s position where the could launch offensives. It is Ukrainians who sweat out barrages. It is Ukrainians who creep up on BMPs and take them out with simple RPGs. You should give valor its due.
Post #29. The Kadyrov Chechens have a bad reputation. Now they are a “Tik Tok Battalion” making videos pretending to fighting off ambushes by bushes, literally.
We’ll see. Ukrainian units were chasing hysterical herds of Russians in that direction.
Me? I’m enjoying the good guys kicking the living crap out of the bad guys here and making people lose their mud over it. Russia along with North Korea and China are major threats to Japan out here and I’d say somewhere in the vicinity of 90% of the Japanese people are supporting Ukraine, and they’re going to be very happy to see Putin removed from power hopefully
I’ll add that the separatists “can’t do Shiite” by themselves either.
While I’d prefer to see such a result quickly, I suspect we’ll see a lot of ebbs and flows, and this war could go on for a few years. That unless the West really ups the quantities of HIMARS and guided artillery, including some heavier munitions here and there, too, like the ATACMS. Plus some aircraft and ability to drop spans on major bridges.
We need to send more. All.
With Ukrainian low orbit satellites providing continuous real time images of all Russia troop movements, Ukrainian AWACs providing around the clock tracking of all Russian aircraft and the Ukrainian NSA monitoring all Russian electronic communications, it just goes to show how a fourth-rate military, with the unlimited aid of the most advanced weaponry available and first-rate command and control (CENTCOM) can hold off and maybe even defeat a second-rate military. /s
At this point when I read FR, I look at the posters’ names before the article titles. That way I can skip past the 20-25% of threads that are about Ukraine/Russia. Those 20-25% threads are all posted by a handful of people.
You seem to post a lot on Ukraine/Russia threads and even post Ukraine/Russia threads yourself.
I might post a thread once every week or two and post a single comment in a thread. It’s all day, every day for some people though. Some days 12 out of 20 threads on the home page are U/R threads.
FR features red, white and blue and the American flag but if some people had their way, it would be changed to blue and yellow and the Ukraine flag right now.
A lot of freepers are interested in our troops in Europe, national security, the military, the biggest European war since WWII, Russia invading Europe, our NATO alliance, our modern weapons, energy issues, European leftists groups like the Greens, and European politics and economics, Russian warships being sunk in the Black Sea, all kinds of things.
It would be bizarre if this wasn’t a huge deal on FR.
Some people are very knowledgeable about this Russian invasion and deeply interested in it, and very good at finding information and updates on it, I’m sure glad they are working to keep us informed.
