At 5:07 pm, officers in the 1600 block of Victor located a deceased party. The identity of this person and the cause of death is unconfirmed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Many years ago my book club would often meet in Memphis at different restaurants & then we would go to a few shops. The only time I go to Memphis now is to go to the airport.

The police searched Overton Park, the lake at the perp’s apartments, the Nonconnah Creek bottoms, now they found her body in this area.
There were all sorts of places to look for her, the police did a good job considering they are chronically understaffed.
The point is not that she was a rich white woman. She could have been rich anything, nobody cares.
This is the issue: our former Mayor, King Willie, was sat down for a talk with the local power families. This woman’s family was a local power family. They told King Willie they could pull their money from the city and it would shortly collapse.
When push comes to shove money talks. I don’t want the wealthy founding families of the city which were Italian, Jewish and Anglo pulling their money.
Things like this happen and more of the money goes to middle Tennessee.
It may not seem fair that this case gets so much attention, but people can’t afford the wealthy to pull their money. If they do the community is screwed.
Can’t find the name of the black-robed legal operative that set bail.
If there was ever a case for the death penalty this is it.
Memphis is one of the highest crime cities in the country, almost as dangerous as Baltimore!
No can do. There is a place waiting for me in an industrial park in Alabama, AL. Another in Warsaw, IN. All I need to do is apply.
Fly in the ointment...child custody. I have 50/50 custody of my daughter. At some point I hope my ex will relent, go pimp herself to yet another guy, and let me have sole custody.
Then I am off to a happier place with better schools for my kid (I was thinking Warsaw, IN would be best for her).
One can only dream.

Just horrible and I heard today that the judge gave the killer bail saying he has a family are you kidding me he murdered this woman in cold blood hang his ass my prayers for her family

This “judge” is one of hundreds in the judicial systems around the country who have been busy turning America into an uncivilized cesspool in which murderers and other dangerous criminals are now turned loose to assault and kill law-abiding citizens. And almost without exception those judges have been appointed by elected DEMOCRATS!
If you mean enforcing a court order to evict them by using tear gas to force them out of the house with no injuries after they had barricaded themselves in and shot a cop, that was Rizzo. They stood trial and were convicted and Rizzo was called a racist until the day he died over it.
On the other hand if you mean dropping a bomb on them and burning them all alive along with the entire neighborhood, that was Philadelphia's first black mayor, Wilson Goode. Nobody calls him a racist ever.
Like I said, Rizzo.
After they have their way with a young woman why do they have to kill them? They are not going to get away with it with all the hidden cameras.. Now he is looking at the Death Penalty!!!
This will quickly drop out of the news now, but imagine the uproar if you reversed the races on this gruesome murder.
There would be riots on par with 2020 and white people getting attacked being blamed for what one person did.
